Well, I made it through Thanksgiving dinner. I am so proud. I ate pretty much everything that everyone else was eating. I just had smaller portions. I even snacked a little but ate less and more healthier foods. I actually had energy at the end of the day instead of feeling like I had to take a nap. I have lost a total of 5.8 lbs and my 3rd weigh-in is tomorrow. I hope I have lost instead of gained. Like Jenny says, "Progress not perfection". Yeah! Wish me luck!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
I had a similar experience (at a buffet, not Thanksgiving Dinner) during which I ate just enough to be satisfied, and felt great both mentally and physically after doing so. The food was certainly not "healthy food," but I had small portions of everything, and I haven't seen any negative results on the scale from it! Isn't it great to feel in control of your life for once? Isn't it a great feeling to act in ways that are good for your mind and your soul? Congratulations again!
