One of the biggest things that keeps me able to eat the food is my toaster oven! The sandwiches, french toast, fish and chips - I'm not sure how I would eat them without toasting them up in the toaster oven! I thaw the french toast in the microwave, then get it nice and crisp in the toaster oven - it just takes a few minutes. So if you don't like microwaved bread - get a toaster oven! You can get a small one pretty cheaply.

I saw some comments about the turkey panini...turkey mush aside - it toasts up very nicely in the toaster oven!!

I put my French Toast straight from the freezer to the toaster. Usually I have to toast it twice to heat all the way thru (my toaster is on a pretty low setting) and it comes out GREAT. Not mushy at all!!! Love it

As a single, I became a toaster oven devotee long before JC.

I agree that it helps me prepare some of the meals to their best advantage. Every meal that includes bread or pastry should have the bread toasted, not nuked - even if is only for the final minutes.

I seem to have discovered all of the tips listed above. All I can add is that I generally defrost any of the meals with potatoes and put those in the T-oven, even if I nuke the rest of the meal.

Since I started eating JC food I "splurged" on a convection toaster oven when one went on sale a Target. Now I wonder why I waited so long to make the change. It is even better than a plain one! If you are thinking of buying a T-oven, the extra cost of a convection will be worth it. tongue.gif
