Hi!

When I first joined JC two months ago, I bought two boxes of the AT bars - and I freaking HATED them!! They were gross, tasted like @$$ - and I could barely muster to swallow them. NOW... a couple weeks later, I love them! It is the weirdest thing. Has anyone else experienced this too? Is it because I'm used to consuming all the vitamins and nutrients in my fruits and veggies, that the ones in the AT bars don't taste so foreign and yucky anymore?!

It takes a bit of time for our taste buds to get used to lower fat & sodium foods in general. If you didn't like particular foods when you first joined and haven't had them for a while, try them all again! You will probably find a couple new favorites.

The first few times I had the Gumbo soup, I felt like it "needed something", but when I ate it last week it tasted perfect to me.

I didnt like the cookies & cream anytime bars, so maybe I should give them another chance?

I liked the peanut butter ones at first and right now, I need to give them a rest - I can barely get one down! I just ate a cookies and cream one and really liked it - some days I do and some I don't. So I do think our tastes change and we get used to them. I'm hoping I'll like the pb again - I have a whole box in my pantry!

I actually enjoy both flavors of the anytime bars. I find them a satisfying treat and I look forward to them. I've never been one who has liked power or protein bars so for me to say that is very surprising to me.

I like the cookies and ceam better. i thought this week they tasted better too:)

Abby - I have found that there's not a lot of consistency between boxes (or cases) of Anytime Bars. I had one box, a little over a month ago, that tasted absolutely horrible. I complained to my JCC and got a new box as a replacement... no questions asked. Quite possible that the first box you got were just bad ones, and subsequent boxes have been the way they're supposed to be???
