I put on a pedometer for the first time and was so disappointed at my inactivity! I walk two miles and only come up with around 5000 steps for that walk. Does anyone use one? Are your findings similiar? I can only hope that the rest of my day comes up with 5000 steps - I suspect it doesn't. . . . !! Time to start moving more!

Yes, its between 2000 steps-2,500 steps per mile. i have been stepping with my JC Pedometer since i started last July. I step each day from the moment i get up inthe morning til I go to bed, than i write down the number of steps and the calories that I burn... I step 25,000 steps a day- 45,000 steps a day. (Also I just bought a Nintendo Wii system yesterday,do you have one?) My fiance is going to hook it for me...So,I exercise 5 days a week, along with my stepping. There is a stepping challenge that I belong to on one of the forums on this website, check it out. Yes, your pedometer sounds accurate. My counselor from JCD sold me mine, It cost me $20.00. It is the best investment I have made since starting JC.....Keep on steppin', I love to step..it motivates me......
I wish great success on JC and with your new pedometer... Take -care....Christine
