I've been on JC for about 7 weeks now and always get the PB anytime bars. This week they have white fuzz on them and smell a bit like sour milk! Has anyone seen this? I am returning them to the center at my next weigh in.

Chocolate can sometimes react with changes in temperature to create a white coating. I've gotten it on a couple of my bars (I do Jenny Direct). It's nothing to worry about. I've actually never smelled them, as I knew what the fuzz/coating was.

Chocolate does that when in a temperature changed environment - say, from room temp to refrigerator.
It is called "blooming". It does not effect the taste of the chocolate.
But it does LOOK funny, and if the look and/or smell turns you off- just return the box.
But I'd open the new carton and check a bar before leaving the Center again.
Their entire shipment may appear like that if it was shipped/stored in temperature swings.

The blooming is caused by fat or cocoa butter that is separating from the chocolate and depositing itself on the outside of the candy. The most common causes of blooming are quick temperature changes and overly-warm storage.
Although it might look a little less appetizing than a lustrous, rich chocolatey-brown piece of candy, chocolate that has suffered bloom is still okay to eat. You may find the texture of sugar-bloomed chocolate to be a bit grainy on the outside, but it will taste the same. To prevent this from happening, store your bars at a constant 68 degrees in a dry location.

That's good to read. I just found a little fuzz on one of mine! Even though they are a little waxy, I look forward to having my AT bar in the afternoon with a cup of tea - it helps me get through the day!

YES!!!! The same thing happenned to me! They are very bitter and funky tasking--initially I thought it was because I ate one right after brushing my teeth...nope! The next day I had one and it was still weird tasting....when I took a close look at it and opened several others---they all had mold growing on them. My centre happily exchanged them and sent my box to Quality Assurance in Jennyland.
It's more than white stuff from temperature changes.
They gave me a box of the cookies and cream bars and wow what a fresh tasting difference.

I stopped buying the JC bars. I used to love the Honey Peanut one and it just started to taste gross. I didn't like the Fruit and Nut one either. I started buying Equate bars at Walmart. They are actually lower in calories and A LOT cheaper. They have lots of different flavours too.
