HI ALL. I USUALLY CHECK THE BOARDS AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK. I'VE NOTICED THAT WE ARE NOT COMMUNICATING AS WE WERE IN THE PAST. NOT BEING THERE FOR EACH OTHER. I AM GUILTY ALSO.
THINGS MAY HAPPEN IF LIFE THAT MAY DETER US FROM OUR NORMAL DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES. I HAVE HAD MY SHARE.
I'M JUST WONDERING HOW EVERYONE IS. I DO HOPE ALL IS WELL AND THAT YOU ARE ALL ON YOU WAY TO REACHING YOUR GOAL IN YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY.
I HOPE I HEAR FROM YOU ALL SOON AND I HOPE EVERYNE HAD A TERRIFIC SUMMER!
LOTS OF LUCK

Heya Pearl,
I have not been on the board in a very long time. (really, the switch over many months ago scared me off... thought I'd give it another try, though.) I'm glad that yours was the first name I saw when I logged back in, what a lovely was to get re-introduced to things!!!!)
I'm doing alright. Have been struggling a lot, but have kept off the initial 25 lbs that I lost. (the last 5 keep going up & down, but I think I've pulled myself mainly back on track.)
I hope you are doing well!
***sending good thoughts out to anyone who might be reading this.***

Hello from Minnesota. I'm five weeks into the program and really beginning to believe I can do this and will do this. That is pretty heady and humbling. Tonight, for the first time in a long time, I was ravenous. Could have eaten patio furniture! But...I had a great night, watched Dancing with the Stars and got my feet back under myself. {{{{{sigh}}}}}
Thanks to whoever thought up creating a rainbow group. Love it.
Peace,
Robyn

Hi Amanda! I can't express how nice it is to hear from you and that you are still a part of JC. I am especially happy to hear that you are doing well and that you are hanging in there. Remember the "wagon". (smile) Honestly I have not been doing well on JC. I have been very close to throwing in the towel and jumping off the wagon for good. But I am hanging in also. I loose 1 pound here and there but nothing to really jump up and down about. The good thing is that I don't gain a lot of weight. I may gain a pound or two and the next week lose a pound. On a positive note I have learned healthy eating and portion control. I stopped my anti anxiety medication to see if I do better at weight lost. If not my doctor wants me to go back on the medication.
There is so much to say but I will stop here. Again it was a pleasure hearing from you. Stay healthy and don't give up. We're in this together.
As Always, Good Luck
Elaine

Hi Robyn from Minnesota! Welcome aboard. You can do it. Stay focused and don't let what you read on the board influence you in a negative way. Most of us have been here for a while and have had our ups and downs~but we are still here.
So again welcome and stay in touch.

It's so good to see your name!!!! I haven't been on the board since the last time you posted and I replied & then here I am again a few days after you... we have very similar timing.
We're also in about the same place with weight stuff... I keep losing and re-gaining the same 4 or 5 lbs... But, you're right... it is about health, so I'm still around. And, the other day it hit me that even though I am not losing weight right now, I have managed to drop 3 sizes & stay in the smaller size, which is a really big accomplishment.
Hang in there and keep in touch!
I hope the grandkiddies are doing well!

I hope you don't mind me replying....but I'm new to this and not quite sure about the process here, but I was reading your text and thought I'd reply. My name is Beth, am 39 and have been on the program about 7 weeks. I've lost 22 pounds so far and am doing pretty well with the program. It was fairly daunting to know I had about half of my body weight to lose, but I'm wanting to make a permanent change to eating and physical activity so I can be around and enjoy life. I saw where you were thinking on throwing in the towel....don't. It sounds like you've come quite a way and have much to be proud of. Find something new to try to help motivate yourself....but hang in there.
