I'v had a crazy week between work and studying. The other night I was soooo tired when I stopped at the store to buy a couple of items - I walked out and forgot 2 bags of groceries at the store. My point is that when I get so tired - I tend to snack and nothing is satisfying. So another lesson learned... not only do I have to plan menus and manage my food, I have to balance my workload and learn how to rest my mind and body. Ahhh so much planning

So last night after an 12 hour day - I came home and instead of tending to home responsibilites immediately - I took 20 minutes of "quiet time" did some stretching and deep breathing in solitude in the den. Then I came out refreshed and ready to make dinner, tend to the animals, and listen attentively to my hubby's account of his day. I am going to try to make this a habit for a week and see how it impacts me on all levels.
I do have good news - even with my PB cravings last week ( MC I vented to you about that). I weighed n today - I HAVE ATTAINED MY ORIGINAL GOAL WEIGHT

I actually stepped off and back on again to double check. So I speak to my JCC and find out what happens from here in re to the program. WOW - I cannot believe that with all the ups and downs that I did it. I know my journey is not over from a long shot. The next challenge will be maintaining it. However, with this program I have developed the ability to believe in myself and trust that I CAN effect change when I put my mind to it.
