I'm using their planned menu for the first four weeks, then I start picking my own foods. It's more cost effective to order and pay for a month's worth of food at a time on Jenny Direct, so I plan four weeks at a time.

I have picked my own for the first month, with no problems, I have done this before and know I don't like the taste of the majority dry shelf foods (none frozen). It is no problem and they are great at getting what I order right.

Hi pinkyc.
I've been doing JD since 6/25 and here's what my JCC told me about your issue.. She adviced I follow the planned menues for at least a month. Reason was to allow my body time to adjust to the change, and to accquaint myself with the proper portions, as well as JC food. I like most anything, but found a few items after wk 3 that I just wasn't fond of, so on wk 3 I asked her to please make sure I didn't receive those certain items... like the tuna salad kit. I wasn't crazy about that one at all, but could do the chicken kit easily. There were a couple of other ones too. She substituted the ones I requested with no problems, questions or unwanted comments, and my orders have always been perfect. Since wk 3 I've deleted a few items and am using my own food. again with no problems. I would challenge my JCC if she were to fight me on anything. Its good money I'm forking out to follow this program, and it might be just me, but want food I enjoy eating. I've never heard of the limiting it to just 3 thing either.. BTW I don't like chocolate either... I've substituted lemon cake for ALL of the chocolate..even the cheesecakes. Good luck resolving your probs.. I do hope you can work things out with your JCC. If it were me and probs continued, I would probably call customer service and complain.
good luck to you!!
