What new dishes would you like to see Jenny Craig's chef's try to make low calorie versions of?
I'd like to see:
1) Breakfast - Huevos rancheros
2) Lunch - Clam Chowder
3) Diner - Hot Dog w/baked beans
For dessert, how about a fruit pie, or a yellow cake with milk chocolate frosting:)

Hey there.
You can actually make a clam chowder using the Creamy Potato Soup. Just mix in about a 1/4 cup of canned clams while you're preparing it on the stove. This adds a pretty minimal number of calories, but will give you a yummy clam chowder lunch.

As well, a hot dog (maybe for lunch)...very surprised they don't do that for the summer time.

Here are some ideas that I think they could add:
Breakfast:
-Chocolate Chocolate chip muffin, Raspberry Muffin, Cranberry Orange Muffin
-Breakfast Meatless Sausage Sandwich - like the Sunshine Sandwich except with meatless sausage and
maybe on a biscuit like bun instead of an english muffin
-Different type of Breakfast Burrito - how about a breakfast burrito that would be packaged like the
Chicken Fajitas? You could have a small frozen portion of eggs, potatoes, etc., and then have 2 small
tortillas or 1 big tortilla on the side that you could toast and add the eggs.
Lunch:
-Frozen pasta/rice dishes: Like the Lo-Mein, except different. Perhaps whole wheat pasta with chicken, squash
and zucchini. Pasta with small portions of salmon in a light sauce. Rice with lemongrass sauce/veggies/perhaps
chicken.
-Burgers: Add a low calorie, lightly breaded fish sandwich with a side serving of fat-free tartar sauce.
Veggie Burger on a whole wheat bun. (The veggie burger has been consistently requested).
-Soups: Stay away from the soups!
Snacks:
-JC definitely has to add an ice cream serving to their lineup. It is an extremely popular dessert and one that many have to give up. Look at the ice cream section in the grocery store! How about small cups of ice cream
sundae like treats. Or, a cone with ice cream that I see in the supermarket. How about a JC ice cream sandwich!

I love the blueberry muffins and would love to see more flavors, as already mentioned. More lunch entrees that aren't canned or soups. I like the cheesy enchilada entree. Maybe more lunches in that vein. I like the variety of dinners so no complaints about that. More cheesecakes! I'd love more cheesecakes personally. I can't get enough.

I agree with the ice cream. It would be nice to be able to have an ice cream selection for a dessert.
Also, more rice dishes, the only rice dish my center has is the one with the salmon and unfortunately I'm not a big fish fan.
I would like to see a chocolate muffin, or maybe even a coffee crumble muffin.

Several years ago they had a couple of promotional foods that I wouldn't mind having back. There was a coffee cake kinda thing that was pretty tasty, and a belgium waffle. A chicken w/orzo and zuchinni for lunch similar to the old pasta ole. Apple crisp, need I say more?
I would love to see an Indian dish on the program, but I'm not going to hold my breath waiting around for it.

I, too, would like to see some additional items that don't have to be heated. It would help at lunch meetings outside of the office.

I agree with this suggestion BIG time. Even something like a meal replacement bar or shake would be most helpful for those of us who travel. I go hiking in the mountains all the time, and the only options for me are the chicken/tuna salad kits (which I hate,) and the anytime bar, (which makes me gassy.

)
A cup of noodles; where you just add hot water might be easier for air travel, or a peanut butter substitute to put on crackers. There is one called "PB2" that I've found on ebay, which has 75% less fat and calories than regular peanut butter. Gosh, even if they would just change the chicken salad and have it be canned chicken that we can add our own fat free mayo to, I'd be pleased.
More travel friendly meal options all around would be heavenly.
Oh, and I also agree with the ice cream suggestion.

I agree with many others ideas - I would love to see a hot dog or taco's and the yellow cake with milk chocolate frosting sounds devine. I would love to see:
Breakfast - Bagel with cream cheese, pecan waffle, double chocolate muffin or a warm donut
Lunch - Nacho's, open faced turkey sandwich with potato's and gravy, buffalo wing wrap, or a BLT (We add the LT)
Dinner - Chili dog, chicken strips, taco salad kit, maybe a marinade that we can put on fish or chicken to grill!
Snacks - Anything frozen - frozen yogurt, ice cream, ice cream sandwich, or a hot soft pretzel with dipping sauce, peanut butter and crackers, chocolate motlen cake and ice cream, m&m like candy, fruit dipping fondue sauce - white chocolate, milk chocolate, caramel or key lime pie sounds good!

I like the kits because they are a contained meal- including the fruit dessert. it even comes with its own spoon/fork (spork). and i like the crackers. it's what's in the can that needs some work. i don't mind them, but i think they could be better. i hear there's a turkey or chicken salad with cranberry coming- sounds good. i love the canned peaches and wouldn't mind others like canned pears or something like that in a meal kit.
and as i've read so many wishes for ice cream i've imagined what i'd love- an ice cream sandwich with mint chocolate chip ice cream. does't that sound yummy?
i also love the bread part of the panini but would love something simpler ( turkey panini seems to have too much going on) something like grilled cheese.
lunch definately needs more variety and more cold but i guess i understand why they are limited- i'm having trouble thinking of something that would work.
