Hi everyone Iwas wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what to order at Red Robin (it is a burger joint in upstate NY) for my daughters birthday she chose there to go for dinner and I don't want to tell her no cuz of my dieting. Thanks for your input...............

They do have salads, chicken burgers (grilled chicken sandwiches), and a grilled chicken platter. You may need to eliminate some things from each (cheese, dressing on side, etc.), but you should be able to eat semi-healthy.

Thanks for the help, I was thinking of a grilled chix salad and bring my own JC dressing w/o cheese. Wasn't sure if they had salad though....great!

They have salads galore but be careful of hidden fats like guacamole. When i go there, I always get the wiskey river chicken wrap. I eat half and take half home. It is served with fries which i ask to be omitted and the best part is it also comes with 2 slices of canteloupe melon. smile.gif Also be careful about the side salad as it has tortilla strips as well as cheese on it. Ask for these to be omitted as well. smile.gif

I went there on Monday for my brother's birthday. I ordered it as a lettuce wrap instead of on a bun. I told them to hold the bistro sauce that comes with the veggie burger. It comes with a side salad and I held the dressing. My mother ordered the same thing and we were both suprised as to how good it was. We didn't even miss the bun.

They have their nutrition posted online so you can search this restraunt and pick exactly what you want to eat. On a splurge, I split the jerk chicken sandwich and it was amazing. I think the sandwich alone is 800 calories so my 1/2 was 400 and a splurge, but delicious.
