My name is Christine and I weigh in on Wednesdays. I am looking for other people that weigh in on this day.It would be nice to start a support group that will help and motivate each other and support and cheer each other on. If you loose weight on that certain week or if you don't loose weight. What matters is: there will be a group of people that are going through the same thing that you are loosing weigh on Jenny Craig Online or through a center. Plus,we are making a permanent lifestyle change so we won't have to go through loosing weight ever again.Loosing weight is a lot of hard work and it would be nice having friends in the same age group to support one another. So,Please join me in loosing weight! I look forward to hearing from each and every one of you'll!
Have a great and successful week-end! Thanks for taking time for reading this! Now take the time to respond,please....Thanks, Christine2264

Hi Christine,
I restarted a week and a half ago and weigh in on Wednesday. (I did Jenny a couple years ago, lost weight, but did not have the self confidence to make the change stick. Luckily I signed up for the lifetime plan.) I live in Southern California, fit the age range and would love to be part of a "Wednesday weigh-in" support group. My weigh-ins are in the evening after work. My initial weigh in was 173.2. I was 171.2 last Wednesday. My initial goal is 153 which is 4 lbs into my ideal weight range. After I reach this goal, I may decide to set a new one for a few more pounds. I don't want to be skinny. I just want to fit in my clothes and be healthy.
Looking forward to doing this with you!
Renée
P.S. My email is sisterpate@gmail.com. The one I have for the site is the one I use for businesses, not for fun. :-)

Hey Christine,

Christine, I too weigh in on Wednesdays, and would love a buddy. I have been on the Jenny Craig program since March and have lost 25 pounds. I have approx 12 more to go. My goal is in sight but I have a feeling the next few weeks/months are going to be a challenge, so I would love to have a friend and support. Even though I may have been on the program longer than you, I feel we can both benefit from this. Feel free to email me any questions.

Hello,
This week's weigh-in is not looking promising. My scale is close to the JC scale and I am only down .3. I admit to a few moments of weakness. I find Sundays are my absolute, hands-down, hardest day.
On the plus side, I have not had a soda or Starbucks hot chocolate for almost two weeks. I have been eating fruit regularly (something I use to never do) and walked three times. (Three times more a week than before.)
Good luck with everyone's weigh-in this week!

Welcome Mamared,
Glad to have you in our "Wednesday weigh In Club". It is going to be nice having you'll around for support on WI day. We'll be there for one another whether we loose, gain,or stay the same weight.
You have 12lbs to go ,Congratulations.Remember,it was easy putting the weight on but it is harder too loose it. Loosing weight is very challenging, because we want instant results.Yo will hit your goal, and your right, your goal is definitely in sight!
This is the start of my 13th day on Jenny Craig Direct. Loosing 12lbs last Wednesday during WI was a great feeling of accomplishment! I still have 100+ pounds to go.I am determined! I am jogging and doing aerobics in the pool for an hour or more 5 days a week.In addition,I purchased a Jenny Craig Pedometer. I have been using it for 4 days know.Tonight at 11:59PM ,I had stepped 25,000 steps since 10:30AM that morning,,,plus I burned over 2,500 calories. I have fun wearing it and it challenges me to walk more, plus all the advantages to using it. Do you have one? They cost $20.00 and I bought mine through Jenny Craig direct from my consultant.If..you don't have one, get one, I guarantee your 12lbs will drop fast!!!!!
my e-mail is: cmmccnn@yahoo.com please, use it ,if you ever need anything.Nice talking to you, keep in touch and post in on Wednesday and tell everyone how you did,OK? Good-Luck!

Renee,
When I started this weight loss 13 days ago ,I promised myself I would only weigh myself on Weigh In day. This way, I won't drive myself crazy! I eat all my fruit and the variety of different colored vegetables, they want you yo eat like:red, yellow, orange peppers, broccoli, asparagus, tons of tomatoes etc...
As for exercise I jog and do aerobics in my neighbors pool for 1 hour or more 5 days a week. In addition,I bought a Pedometer from JC and I put it on asa i wake up in the morning til I go to bed.I tabulate how many steps and calories I burn off each day on a pad of paper on my nightstand as soon as I take it off st night. It is fun to step. I challenge myself each day to top my previous goal from the day before etc....They are $20.00, and I orderd mine from my consultant on Jenny Craig Online.Get one soon, they are awesome!!!!!
My hardest times to stay focus is at night. But so far,,...I am doing fine.M biggest challenge comes today 7/29-8/22. I will be going to CA> for all those days, almost a month. I will be doing a menu on my own. I am nervous, but very, very determined to succeed.I am going with my fiancee' .He is a consultant for the Government and he has a long conference and a brief to attend. We are staying at a Bed&Breakfast and they put a microwave and refrigerator in ourroom. So..all I need to get is :fruit, vegetables, turkey, high fiber bread, lots of water(I drink between 8-10 16.9 bottles of water a day.I get in all my fruit and vegetable servings and more...
I have an awesome consultant,my parents,my fiancee' and you'll to get me through this 25 days..I am determined to well. Our plane leaves at 4:00amthis morning EST and it is !;15AM now so i gotta rush...post in after you weigh in and let us know how you did...Goood-Luck!!!

I WI on Wed. too. I've been on JC since November of last year. Sometimes (like today!), I feel like I've been on JC FOREVER! And, this past month, losses have slowed way down and/or been very inconsistent- so my goal seems to NOT be getting closer. It feels even farther out of reach- harder to reach. This is all personally speaking- not anything against JC. I do LOVE the program. My body is just NOT cooperating with all my efforts!
Everyone is different, and I know in my head I dont want to lose the weight super fast...but it has become painfully SLOW now. I mean, come on already! Or should I say "Come OFF already?!" (Thud- head hitting desk)
I'll check in here- it would be nice to be part of a Wed. group!

Hi You'll,
First thing I want to do is welcome "worknit" to our group and I look forward to getting to know her.She loves the Jenny Craig Program but is frustrated because she isn't loosing like she wants...I can't blame her. That is why we are all here to help and encourage oneanother.
I LOST ANOTHER 5LBS!!!!! Yea! 17LBS total for 14 days.I am Psyche. So...I am waiting on the rest of you to post your results...Where are you'll???
I jogged in the pool for an hour today, along with laying out.I'm trying for that CA. tan.Yea...right,I am so fair that I burn before tanning. My hair is going from blonde to a real light, light blonde which is cool. With 3 weeks of visiting sunny CA.I should get somewhat of a tan.I am still working out my pedometer and stepping away.I love stepping,it is challenging and I burn calories(I know exactly how many when I am through).
I look forward to hearing about your days activities and hopeful weight loss.Good-Luck!!

Hello All,
I am down 1.8 for a total of 3.8 in 2 weeks. I am happy with my progress. I met my first goal which was to be under 170 this week. My next goal is to be 5 lbs (total) by next WI.
I love my consultant. She helps me by giving doable suggestions for whatever ws my struggle for the week. For example, Sundays are not my best day. Suggestion: Save all my best foods for that day, make veggies easy to grab-and-go and have berries ready (my over-do-it fruit of choice).
Congrats Starry and Christine on your WIs. Welcome to our new team member. (Sorry -- Can't see your name in this reply mode.)
Before I forget, bought the pedometer today. Couldn't find the ones I own.
Christine -- You need to work for JC when this is all done. You are very motivating and a natural leader.
Take care!

Hi You'll,
I finished my jogging in the pool,I was thrilled when I "finally" made it up to 1 hour. Then 1 1/2 hour & today 1 hour and 45 minutes. I was "working it". Plus,I am still stepping with my JC Pedometer. At 11:59PM, last night I was over 40,000 steps...this is the third time that I accomplished that many steps....I was psyched! You'll know I am in CA. til 8-22 and on my own using the Jenny Craig 12,000-15,000 menu. It is hard doing it on my own,but I thankful that I have my digital weight scale and digital food scale with me here in sunny CA. or I would be extremely lost.
I am wondering how all of you guys did today at your WI's. I lost another 2.6 pounds! Only 4 more ounces and I would be down 20lbs. in 3 weeks. I am thrilled that I lost! I was nervous on getting on that scale, but I did.My JC counselor called promptly at 3:30 & we talked awhile. I was blessed to get such an awesome counselor-we click and that is important. I hope everyone likes there counselor,if not, request another!!!!!!
I will check back later and see how you did Starry,bernee_sd, Renee, and worknit did this past week.Good-Luck you'll!! Christine

Hello All,
I lost 1.2, making it a total of 5 in three weeks. My next goal is to lose another 5 in three weeks. Still loving my JC cheerleader Amber. She is perfect for me.
Congrats Christine and Starry! Yeah!!!! I am so glad we are out here supporting one another with our Wednesday Weigh-ins.
Question -- I would like to have a little more online support and communication. I know you both belong in another thread; however, I know I saw one posting saying it was perfect at 10 members. Do you think I can crash the party or would it be better to start a new thread. I don't want to try to invite myself if a team is working together already.

'bernee_sd',you are one of us!I need you in our group, the more the better! Thanks for your support on my weight loss this week!Also,1.2 is great! You are able to loose 5lbs in 3 weeks.I will help you in anyway that I can, just ask.......I Know i sound like a broken record when i say this: "IF" you do not have a JC Pedometer, get one asap! It is saving my life. Especially since I am on my own.I joined a 10,000 Step Club on the internet, and post in there too.Along with using the pool for jogging 5-6 days a week, the stepping helps me burn calories(on the pedometer, after, you finish stepping, ithas a button that use push that tells you how many calories that you burned at the end of each day....it is so helpful...I hope you feel welcome now, thanks for joining.I wish you the best on your quest for 5lbs in 3 weeks! Congratulations!!! Starry!!!!! Awesome Weight-Loss!!!!! I am sssooooo excited for you!!!!!!

I lost another 3.4 lbs!!!! 23lbs in exactly 4 weeks!!!! I am psyched. I ate with my cousin at "The Cheesecake Factory" on Monday for lunch. I stayed with my cousin Monday morning through last night. She doesn't have a pool. So...I walked 1 1/2 each day(my exercise)and I did my steps. Also ate a lot of fruit..especially pineapple,I ate a whole one each day for three days up to my WI today.Pineapple is a fat burner....

I am still in CA. and will be til next week 8-22(Friday).I am tired and want to go home and see my kitty cats!! I miss them ssssooooo much!!! My fiancee' and I are "SICK" of traveling!!!!
Next month, we will be in Ohio for 2 weeks!! I am getting some dryed ice and bringing "ALL" my Jenny Craig Food with me then!!!! I am sick of the stress and worry being on this JC 1,200-1,500 Plan Your Own Menu.

Hi All! Congrats on all the great losses for the week- that is very motivating! And your activities- YES! Every single motion and/or minute counts!!!! I enjoy reading all of your good reports! It helps me tremendously!
Especially since.....I'm still teeter-tottering with the same 1-2 pounds! I'm at 140 even this week. Geesh.
We discussed it may be a "plateau"- and ways to shake it up (change my exercise routine, etc.) so....something's gotta give! I thought maybe I "Shook it up" with a birthday MOMO- but no. It was very decadent feeling to eat a filet at Outback and totally enjoy! I have not eaten there in over a year, and it was SO good, and actually guilt-free! I'm 46 now. Crikey! I don't feel that old. At all. That really sounded old when I was in my teens, twenties. Now, it doesn't!
Newbie- welcome! To answer your question: In your e-tools, you can make your signature- and add lines of text for your current weight- you just have to "edit signature" each week to add new info or change stats.
I'm hangin' tough. Trying to shake it up and get things moving closer to goal again....have a great week everyone!

Re- pedometers: I bought an inexpensive one at Target when I first "dove into" doing activity. And YES! It was very, very motivating and fun to challenge myself to walk more. I even wore it during work- hey! that counts too!!! It really helped to get me started into actually ENJOYING being more active. This is from one who "hates exercise"! So- if I can do it, you all can too.
These days I use our fitness center (treadmill, elliptical and circuit weights)- all of which grew from just walking, then graduating to walking 30-45 minutes during lunch break with a friend/co-worker. It has been part of this life-changing transformation for me. I have muscle tone and some definition that I have not seen since I was much younger. It is SO cool. Every little step of progress is worth the effort.

I will be on the JC program 100% so I am shooting for 2-3lbs this time next week.I hope everyone else has had a good week. I wish you everyone the best of luck! I hope everyone is well? Any new problems or concerns that have come up this past week?

I just WI for the first time and I'm down 9 lbs. for my first week on JC. I'm so excited! I have a phone consultation this evening at 5:30. I'm going to ask my counselor about the pedometer, too. That sounds very motivating!
I was really happy to find this thread. Good luck to everyone today!

Hi everyone.
Great job on the first WI- WOW those are great numbers! And welcome to the board!
I had a good week apparently- perhaps FINALLY

breaking the several weeks' of same pound up/down.
I lost 2.4! Weeeee! Man oh man, I hope so. That was a shot in the arm that I was So in need of.
It's been a windy, rainy, stormy week here in Central Florida- so I was VERY happy to be able to make my JC Appt. and was shocked to see (for me) that big of a loss, this far into my journey on JC. I've not had but a few times a loss of 2+ pounds on any week.
Christine- you've been very good with the challenge of being away from home and all the "normal routine" You should be very proud of yourself for all the good choices you've made all this time away.
When you WI, also take measurements. Inches lost can happen when sticking to daily activities too- so it's not JUST the scale. That has been a real motivator for me along the way- especially when the scale is not "cooperating" with me!

Hi Christine, I have been with Jenny Craig since Jan '07 and have almost met my goal. I started out at 294.6 and am now down to 144.6. I am so pleased with the result from both JC and working out. It has really been an awesome jouney and one that I will be on for the rest of my life. I still love to eat and have learned that I can still eat out but now eat out differently and smarter. I still love the food from JC even after a yr and a half. I love all of the support that I have gotten from my family, friends and community! I too, weigh in on Wednesdays - I have only missed 1 week of weighing in (this past month while I was on vacation in Denver). I look forward and am a little nervous everyweek to the weigh-in. I hope you have as much success as I have with Jenny. It has been great!!!!

Hello,
I WI on Wednesdays after work. I hope I can join you. I started in April, but have finally logged onto the JC site this afternoon. I was reading the posts and you all sound very motivating. I am 48 (OMG) and my body is doing such a number on me. My 2nd or 3rd week I put on weight and I followed the program to tee. Normally, I would have given up, but this time I refused to give up and four months later I am almost 20 lbs lighter. Yeah! I did e-diets a few years ago and found the online experience was great. I met a lot of wonderful people and I hope I can do that here.

Dang if I didn't gain back the SAME 2 pounds that I lost. Again. (Thud, head hits desk)
Ok, so...I bought the 2 pound JC hand weights as part of my Declaration of War against these last pounds to be lost. Discussed strategy with my JCC about it, and really bearing down on
A: Working out with Increased Intensity and Duration/Time when possible, even short "spurts"- 10-15 minutes here and there add up. Doing some different exercises (thus the hand weights/new gadget for me)
B: Sticking very closely to eating plan. I still miss fruit servings sometimes, and may not be drinking enough water (with or without Crystal Light of JC Splashers). Writing and checking everything off on my menu list each day.
C: and she said it, not me- turning this into a positive, vs. a negative (esp. my attitude about it!) As usual, she's right. Again!
I welcome the new folks here- it's SO good to hear happy reports and "newbie excitement"!!! I need that!
And- welcome to have more folks who've been on JC awhile, and are sticking with it!!! And still losing and getting healthy!
Hate to do it, but I need to change my sig to show current weight...

Hi Starry and rap1213- yes, where IS Christine?! Hopefully getting settled back at home! I know I do much better in my own environment, with home routine of living.
Everyone have a good long holiday weekend? It's amazing what a difference one extra day off makes!
I maintained- to the ounce! this last week. I did really well, and even attended a "girl's night" pajama party Sat. night. It was super fun- I ate OFF plan, and did not overeat too terribly. It was nice to take a break from "all things Jenny", and to not focus on it for one whole night and next morning! It was worth it to really enjoy special time with friends and RELAX with the girls (OK, so we're from 32 yrs. old to 60, I'm 46 yrs. old). I have not done that in way too long.
My DBF and I kayaked in the river (quiet backwaters) on Monday- that was a good activity and great upper body/arm work. To my surprise, I was not sore or really worn out from it. I am getting more fit, even though the scale continues to frustrate me. Maybe I should use it for a kayak anchor! (just kidding)
So....I'm counting on ya'll to post scale and non-victories from this past week!!!
I bought and used the JC 2 lb. hand weights this last week. They are very cool, easy to use. I like them allot. They look like boxing gloves to me- make me feel like "Rocky" on the treadmill!

Hey Starry! Yes! I'd be very happy with down .7 too!
I'm looking forward to a "down point-anything!" next week. Even the smallest loss is pleasing! And helps kindle the motivation fire.
Have another good week!!!

It was a good week. I'm right at 30 lbs. lost now! That makes me happy, although
I have not been feeling 100% this week, going to doctor appt. tomorrow. Unexplainable dizziness/light-headed/weird feeling. I have no known conditions and am not on any sort of meds. Actually a pretty darn healthy person, and not much slows me down. I am rarely sick in any way. So- I really want it checked out quick! I'm faithfully praying it is nothing major.

Had several tests & x-rays done. Hoping it really IS my neck/nerves that have had me feeling this way for the past week. I'm able to work again (thanks to some meds), but Want to again be healthy on my own!
I'm keeping my appt. tomorrow for WI, I weighed myself last Wed. and was down ALLOT for me, but chalked it up to feeling so bad. Plus, not able to workout- so....whatever.
I'm focusing on taking care of myself and finding out what is going on with me.
Hope the usual Wed. WI folks will report in again.....helllloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo (there's an echo in here)

Hi, I'm here to report to I am feeling MUCH better, still not sure why/what happened to me. BUT! I am back to my fitness routine as of yesterday, and boy, did that feel good. I have a follow-up appt. with my doc this Friday, so we'll see what she can tell me from the tests & x-rays.
Had my early AM WI Appt.... it went well. I am up .2, which is acceptable, all things considered. I could not do physical activity for the last week and a half. That, and eating small bits of "not on the menu" items, missing some fruit servings..it all contributes.
I'm confident I will be fully "back on track" this week. And I am LOVING that the weather here in Florida has finally turned to Fall-like! I swear is has changed my attitude and energy level too. And I am just so thankful to be feeling better. I don't make a good "patient".
Looking forward to hearing other Wednesday WI folks week's report!
