hello all. i'd like to share a tip to help you control portions while dining out...only allow yourself one glass of water/tea/diet soda when your meal arrives. when the server asks if you'd like a refill, say no! knowing that i will not have a drink to finish out the meal keeps me from continuing to eat the full portion. i hope this helps! good luck to everyone!

That's great that works for you! I do just the opposite- I drink at least a full glass of water before food comes, and will continually get refills throughout my meal. If the wait staff disappears or does not fill my glass- I'll start drinking everyone else's at the table!!! If they aren't drinking theirs of course, and why waste water?

Anything that works to not over eat! I've been on JC for awhile now, and I cannot even finish a full restaurant meal. They always serve way too much, and my body can't take it anymore. How great is that?!

You are on the T. I drink 16 ounces of water before any meal or snack,and continually drink water during the meal and after.(it has to be room temperature water too).I am able to drink it faster and get full quicker!
I have been on Jenny craig Direct for 14 days total and have lost 17lbs total.Along with the water intake,I jog in the pool for an hour to an hour and a half 5 days a week & I step with my pedometer.I do the stepping for fun,and I challege myself to go further each day.I put it on asa I get out of bed till 11:59PM at night,than I write down the number of steps for that certain day and all the calories that I burned for that same day.Monday July 28th,I did 25,000 steps! That will be a rare day.
I am going out to eat tonight with my fiancee'.We are in CA. til 8-22 and i am managing my own fat and fiber grams,calories,portion size(I brought my scale and food scale with me)etc..I ate light all day today to include tonights dinner.Plus,water water and more water,keeps me full.Good luck on the program,and i hope you loose alot of weight this week.
