Hello ya'll, my hubby and I are in our 3rd week. We are both doing ok,I think I am handling the portions better than he is. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to handle the fruit thing....by that I mean, hubby is eating 3 or 4 fruits a day and he is quickly getting tired of it, I mean he likes fruit, but apparently not this much. Does anyone know how to still get in the benefits without maybe the quantities? Thanks and good going to all of you!! wink.gif

Dont eat all the same fruits everyday! Change it up..look in your sucess made simple guide in the back and it gives you all the fruit exchanges.

You can even do fruit juice (1/2 cup/4oz is 1 serving).
Or dried fruit like raisins (1/4 cup is a serving)

Hope that helps!

Fruit can be added to entrees or salads. Try a cup of mandarin oranges on a salad. Or dried cranberries in cereal or on salads. One of my favorite breakfasts is the oatmeal square, heated, topped with applesauce. Beef chow mein is great with a cup of pineapple chunks stirred in.

Well I make my fruit into a smoothie.
I throw about a cup of (strawberries, blueberries, rasberries, mango whatever fruit)
my cup of milk (i use lowfat soy)
and a splenda blast it in the blender and it makes it a frothy yummy drink even my kids ask for.
I usually drink this around 2 pm to help the hunger before dinner time.
