Full Version: Sick of JC food (mainly pasta)

I've been on JC for almost a year now and have been stuck for about half of the time. I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian (have been for 10 years) and can't find many things on the JC menu that I want to eat. It's like I eat the same darn thing every single day. I don't really cook, nor do I have time working 40 hours a week (6 days) and going to school 20+ hours a week (over 5 days). I knew it wouldn't be easy, but it has been more difficult than it should be.

I AM SICK OF PASTA!!!

The only thing I really enjoy now at JC is the dessert, and even those are sounding gross to me. I opened my fridge the other night after getting home from the airport and was grossed out by the thought of the food. After eating the same thing for almost a year, I think I'm done. I'm looking at other options, even though I love my JC consultant.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I've been eating some of the WW foods, and they are a heck of a lot cheaper and better tasting. I find them at the grocery store between $1.50-$3.00 and usually have a coupon, which is WAY cheaper than JC food.

GRR! I'm just so frustrated. I don't know. I still need to lose about 35 lbs, and something isn't working. I've maintained at my current weight for about 6 months now.

I just don't know anymore. Motivation is through the window and in another state by now.

Hello there.

I too am a lacto-ovo veggie. I have been on the program for about 4 months. I have lost 27 lbs. And I too am on the edge. Tonight I had a Boca burger. It tasted good. Most of the stuff is really pretty good but am dreading eating. So you really can't help but lose weight because you can't eat.

The pasta is getting icky. The thing that confuses me. They tell you that you can have a meal on your own and you have to eat whole grain pasta but they (at JC) serve you plain white bleached pasta. What???

I want to get the weight off and be done with it. I think I have done pretty well with it. And that is why I want to stick it through. Any tricks you have?
