So for I completed my fourth day today. Food is pretty good, I don't care for the blueberry muffin, but everything else is really tasty. I find that I am hungry every three hours but then what is listed for me to eat at a snack or meal is too much food, I get full before the food is gone...guess the shrinking stomache part of the plan has kicked in. I was very close to eating fast food this evening because I had work and then another place to be and not enough time to go home, but I had my dinner meal with me and willed myself to eat it instead of the alternative. Truth is, I am so glad I did this, but it was a very mental choice. My husband said he could tell my face tonight...was a sweetie. I really pray that there is a lower number on the scale on Sunday, because that would make these moments so worth it!
Happy Friday to everyone!

Hi Christie,

Welcome and good luck on Sunday. I have about as much weight to loose as you if not more so I'm happy to have someone here that I can try to keep up with. I already lost 26 lbs but now that all started so well I might adjust my initial goal later on biggrin.gif so it will all together be about 115 lbs (GRRRR).

I felt the same way the first and second week of the diet. I was too full and didn't think I could fit all the food in but my consultant stressed it out that it's very important to eat all the food on the menu and not skip anything, so please don't. Don't eat any extra veggies or limitted and unlimited food but eat all that's on the menu as this is part of the success. Also, pay attention to when you get the fullest and you can switch dinner with lunch as I have. I usually get home late and can't eat dinner 4 hours after lunch so what I do is I have my dinner food for lunch around 1 then I have my salad a little later on around 2:30, snack around 4:30-5 and lunch for dinner around 7.

This way I know I won't eat too much too late and I don't get too full or too hungry as some people do around 3-4PM.

Keep up the good work and let us know about it. We are here for each other.

Jen - I love your crown smile.gif We will all need one sooner all later. I want one when I reach my halfway point smile.gif

NewChristie - I was wondering how you were doing. Yours is one of the first posts I read before I joined and it sounded so positive it helped convince me to try this. I started yesterday at the 1500 calorie level and I have to honestly say that I was famished the entire day. Nothing quenched it. I added veges to the lunch and the dinner and soup to the lunch as well. By dinner time I almost caved when my husband went to a fast food place. BUT, I resisted even though I was in the car with him! YAY!!! I will see how today goes. I don't want to keep counting the hours until I can eat again like I did yesterday. What is up with that anyway??? Oh well...have a great Friday everyone !

Thank you for the compliment! These are the best glasses I have ever had! I have had a pair since these, but went back and said, oh, no, put the new RX in these frames...I miss them to much!

Congrats on all your progress so far! It is exciting to know that this program works for real people!

Talk to you soon,

Christie

Hi Christie
I too live in Southern California. I am also in the middle of my first week back on Jenny. So far, I feel really great. Totally motivated. I am even wearing a pedimeter to try and up my activity level.
I have to lose 65 lbs to get back to my wedding day weight of 130. That was 17 years ago, but I made a vow to myself that I will achieve this goal!
Great having so many others here to join in this long journey.
What part of Ca do you live in Christie?
