Take a banana, peel it, place it into a ziploc bag and freeze it. Take the frozen banana and place it into the food processor and blend, be careful, the processor will jump and bounce on counter, apply a firm grip. Then add 2 Tbspn (or as much as JC allows) of sugar-free maple syrup and a splash of vanilla and process until smooth. Viola! Banana ice cream soft serve is as easy as 1-2-3 !

That sounds good! I always end up with bananas and trying to figure out how to eat before they go too brown.
Love em frozen- yours is a great idea! Thanks!

Thanks for this information. I love bananas, but do not like them when they get "mushy". I will try tonight.

You can actually do it by blending up everything when the banana is still ripe. Then just feeze it afterwards. Saves a lot of damage to your blender and equally tasty! Sometimes I just blend a really ripe banana and freeze it without adding anything. It is a great ice cream like treat!

I saw all the posts here and they sound yummy...I'm not much of one to experiment too much in the kitchen (not a cook at all) but has anyone tried or thought to try or maybe its a terrible idea but maybe bananas and strawberry FF yogurt blended and then frozen? it would be kind of like a strawberry banana icecream. I know some nights my snack for my menu is two fruits and a yogurt so this could be a nice change up.

What do you guys think?

Great ideas for banana and strawberry banana ice cream. I'm going to try them. Thanks.

I make a banana shake for breakfast quite frequently. It counts as my morning milk and fruit serving. Blend one frozen banana with a cup of milk and a splash of Torani or DaVinci sugar free flavored syrup (I like Irish Cream). I also add a sprinkle of cinnamon. This is really good with a banana nut or blueberry muffin. I cut the warm muffin in half and spray with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray and add some fruit sweetened jam. YUM!!!
