Full Version: HELP! Why won't the menu print like a calendar

I've been away for a while, but the menu doesn't print normally like a calender anylonger. Its a mess! HOw do I make it print normally. THis SUCKS! Yes, I'm very annoyed and frustrated...what should have taken less than 5 minutes has taken me over 30, with no change in outcome.

yes I have this too. I have FINALLY been able to access and make option changes to the menu planner, but when I try to print it? I get a whole bunch of scripto glifics and some error code coming up. If I try to use my Browser instead ( which it DOES tell you not to do ) I get 11 pages to print out with a single column on each ???? if anyone can help that would be great.

I've been having the same problem in the past few weeks. I have e-mailed technical support twice, but have not had a reply back. Would also like to know how to make it work correctly.

I get the column thing....INSANE.

Right now, I'm ready to tell JC to go take a hike. Really, they are not replying to customers---when people ask specific questions, tell us what is going on and why its not working. Don't leave us hanging...many of us rely on the menu planner and to be totally cut off makes no sense or not be able to print it...

And, the fact that clients have to rely on a system devised by another client (have you found the wonderful excel spreadsheet put together by a memeber?) I'm honestly quite disturubed by the fact that a client has put together a more friendly system (AND BIGGEST THANKS FOR SHARING) and that JC corporate cannot be "bothered" to tell us what is going on...that is how it appears...their customer service is really horrible and honestly, that is waht is supposed to set them apart: caring customer service representative (the consultants at the centers or on the phone) and a useful interactive community....

Hi Jen:

I totally understand your frustration. Do you have Microsoft Publisher or something similiar? I copied the menu into publisher, resized it, and then printed it. If you have Publisher, I can send you a copy of it privately. Just send me an email via JC site privately with your email address and I'll send it immediately.

Thanks Betty Jo...I don't have Publisher or anything similar...I tried copying it into Word...NOT! Anyway, I'll live without it (and use the excel sheet put together by Lisa ---I may have gotten her name wrong...sorry!).

I was and am very frustrated with JC for a few reasons ----my center and then then menu planner so I was really, really annoyed on Friday.

I've accepted that (1) I'm not going to have the online menu planner and (2) I need to rely on me and not my JCCs...and the boards here of course.
