This is my third week on Jenny Direct. My consultant is scheduled to call each Monday at 8:45 eastern daylight time. She did not call today and I am very disappointed. Has anybody else had this happen?
Barbara

I think I was just a little too impatient! My consultant did call the following day and I found out she was sick on Monday. I really felt bad then. She is terrific and so helpful. I am now doing a personal menu online and I love it. She really helped me with that. I found a few entrees that I was not fond of so I like being able to leave those off. I can't believe I can feel so full on 1200 calories a day!!!

Hi, Barbara,
We actually chatted about this a little bit on the "May" column. But, I had to reiterate: same thing had happened to me! I was disgusted. I had been a lifetime JC member and rejoined this March 2008. It was a very rocky start!!!! The first consultant, Tierre, was worthless. Did not call when I was suppose to start. So, I started on my own. Then she called on a Saturday. Was not at her desk. And said VERY little!!! Very discouraging. .......... I complained. AND, was hooked up with another consultant and she is great. So, call the 1800 number and ask for another consultant!!! Complain. These people need to be fired. That's how bad mine was and how I felt.
BUT, I had to reply here... because there was another kink in my JC Plan and thought I'd pass it along.
I decided to skip Jenny Direct and go to my 'local centre' which is 65 miles away so I would not pay shipping charges. 130 miles round trip. Gas costs!!! But I wanted to save on those expensive shipping charges!!! Well, this was a BIG mistake that I'm correcting as we speak. The 'local centre' is a franchise. Not a corporate owned center. They charge more for their food... and I do not receive the Jenny Rewards - unless I send my receipts into JC Corporate. Which didn't sound like the truth but it did check out -- I would be reimbursed. Point: JC Centers are corporate owned or franchises. If they are franchises, they charge their own price and you pay tax. Our tax is 9.75% which is another 10% higher. I was so ripped off this 2 weeks.... never again! I went back to Jenny Direct !!! And my nice consultant.
