Hi all. I've had way too many meals out lately and not enough WT and cardo...however, I found today at WI that I had lost .8 lbs anyway! I've gone from a size 10 to size 8 since I rejoined JC in Feb. My weight seems to have hovered at 146 forever but now it looks like I'm breaking that plateau. I would really REALLY like to lose 10 lbs by 4th of July. I need a buddy or two. I am newly turned 50 (the new 40!) and I feel great, have lots of energy and work with young people all day (I'm a college recruiter). I travel a bit but not too much. I only have four weeks of school left then I'm OFF the entire summer! The next four weeks will be the most challenging. Once I'm off work, I'll be better able to focus on working out and planning my meals ahead of time. One of my biggest challenges is the bathroom issue! When I'm in high schools all day with very little break time, I have no way to drink my water and visit the bathroom. Also, I'm on the road a lot so who wants to drink and pull over constantly. If you are looking for a buddy and are in a similar situation...please PM or post.

Hello,
Congrats on breaking your plateau! I was reading the part of not being able to go to the bathroom a lot during the day and it reminded me of a friend that would go to rock concerts and wear depends so she wouldn't have to wait in the incredible bathroom lines. I had another friend that went sailing alot and would wear them because it was so hard to get in and out of her wet suit. So maybe that's an option for you...lol!
I was in outside sales for years and was on the road all day and still drank a couple of quarts of water. So just do and make the time to go to the bathroom. Usually when your body gets used to the additional water you're not going all the time anyways. If I remember correctly high schools have bathrooms everywhere. Take care of yourself first...if you have to go then go. Things are only a big deal if we make them a big deal right?
Have a great weekend,
Terri from Vermont
