Hi! My name is Kim, I had my very first consultation yesterday and started the program today. I'm 38 (until July 4!), married, and a stay at home mom. I've got two boys, Timothy, who is 15, and Elijah, who is 2. We live in Snohomish County WA, about 40 miles northeast of Seattle.
I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself before I start wandering around the forum!

Hope your doing well, I have been on the program a few weeks now... I am 35 and live in Vancouver, WA and have 4 teenage daughters, my husband is pretty good with the support but really my best source are the girls.

Hi there! I am a Seattle gal looking for JC buddy! I go in at 2:00 today for my first cosult. I was actually hoping there would be some live support groups but will give an email buddy a go. I have never joined a chat group before but really need and am looking for support as I go through the program. I have not entered my stats on line yet but I am 5'9 current weight is 168 and my goal is to get back to 145. I am a single mom of 2 children and have lost 70 after baby 1 and then 60 after baby 2 so I know I can lose 28 pounds! I am a big time emotional eater tending to reach for my kids yummy snacks when lonely. I am going to work on checking in with my JC consultant and chat buddies to try holding myself accountable for what I put into my mouth. I have the will power when it comes to exercise but very weak in eating discipline, tending to binge but not purge( thank goodness!) and obviously need to do with out either! I live in Camas WA! I am a nurse at a local clinic and my husband is a Vancouver City Police Officer. We have one son who is 7 and attends the local catholic school. I'm looking to lose about 70lbs. I have been a member of JC before I got married 10yrs ago and got down to a size 2. I started back on the program today and I am very excited to get back to a healthier me!

34, single, government employee, fulltime student. No biological children, just took in my friend's 14 year old.
Wow...To go from being single w/o kids to a single mom of a teen is crazy. But I can't blame my weight gain on the kid. Although I do have grey hair and strained muscles now. lol...
