I just had this lunch for the first time, and all I can say is WOW!!! I warmed it up in the microwave, and ate it "as is". I didn't add anything at all to this meal and it was amazing. Does anyone add stuff to this meal? If so, what do you add and how do you prepare it? Thanks!!

birds eye has a microwavable oriental blend. mushrooms, string beans, bok choy. I mix the two, awesome. Just like takeout!

Yep- it is good!! I add either steamed broccoli or (store brand, nothing fancy) oriental or japanese mix veggies. No sauce or anything in the veggies. It is still very good and the veggies "volumize" it like they say.
Same with the Cashew Chicken and the Potstickers too. I like them all!

I add a tsp of lite soy sauce to it and i sautee red peppers and musrooms in a pan and add to the dish after i heat it.

YUMMY!!

definitley my fav. JC meal!

someone also mentioned adding a tsp of peanut butter to it to give it the Thai Flavour affect - i haven't done so yet, but will try it. i'd assume the Peanut butter (if its lite) would count towards a limited item for the day.

I like to stir-fry (with cooking spray, not oil) some mushrooms, chopped broccoli, and baby spinach with some lite soy sauce and chili-garlic sauce, mix it all together and top with some cilantro. Yum! This is one of my favorite JC meals.
Cambria
This is probably my favorite lunch too! I never thought of adding items to it... but I think I'm going to try adding bean sprouts and snow peas! YUM!!!! Thanks for the good suggestions!
Reese-in-Iowa
It is my favorite lunch. I don't add anything to it but I do add a salad with Lighthouse Sesame Ginger dressing to it which you can find at Super Targets.

On Sunday nights I cook a pan of bell pepper, onion and mushrooms. In either a little olive oil or cooking spray. And then I use that during the week to volumize. I put some in the beef chow mein but also the rotini and meatballs, fajitas, cajun chicken and rice, steamed chinizu... so many things! Just an idea!

I totally agree with you!! I had this for my first time today and it was delicious!!

Its was one of my favorites from my first week (which was last week) and I added it to my second week, and I had this for lunch today. I added about a 1/2 cup of steamed broccoli and it was so filling.
