I'm just restarting - after 19 years! The food has really improved. I loved the old peanut butter bar, however, I had my first anytime peanut butter bar today, and I loved it! I actually think it's one of the best peanut butter bars I've ever had; it was carmelly and the chocolate tasted like real chocolate, not carob. It was really good!
I started to read the "foods we hate" thread, but decided I have to learn to eat and try new things, and it's better to just give it a go.

Really, the food is so much better than what it used to be, and even back then.. it was pretty good. Besides... every time I have something on the menu, I know I'm going to be closer to my goal!!!!

But I also empathize with anyone struggling with not liking certain foods - the best thing to do is talk to your counselor, and plan your own menu choices, or switch out a day if you don't like something. Just remember, it's temporary, but it's flexible enough to allow us to choose... back then, you couldn't, you just had to "bite the bullet"!

Good Luck! You can do it!!!
