I loved the new choc cherry cheesecake, not as cloyingly sweet as the triple chocolate.
Cambria
I'm with you! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the cherry chocolate cheesecake. My counselor said she heard it was going to remain a selection for us! I was so afraid it would disappear after February. I agree that the chocolate cheesecake is just too rich/sweet for me. I enjoy a bite or two.. but then I'm done.

I hope the Chocolate Cherry cheesecake stays in the line up. It is ab fab!

Best regards!
traveling mom
My JCC told me this afternoon that I got the last 3 chocolate cherry cheesecakes from their centre today and that JC was no longer going to carry them! CMON that was my very favorite thing! Has anyone else been told this today??

That's weird. I find the cherry one sweeter. I love both though. I probably should stock up a few. I'm still stocking up the sirloin with rice.

I was told at my JCC also that not only were they out, they wouldn't be having anymore as it was only a February special.

I just spoke with my JC Counselor... and was told they will not be having anymore of the chocolate cherry cheesecake. I can't express how disappointed I am. I want them! And I will NOT substitute the other cheesecakes from JC.. because the triple chocolate one is just too rich for me.. and I've never liked ANY cookies & cream type desserts. So, I will put my money literally where my mouth is.. and find a suitable dessert outside of the JC line.

It's all about Supply & Demand. This IS a business... and I will find a suitable replacement from another vendor.
A smart store stocks what the customer wants. I also miss the BBQ meat loaf... and will wait just a bit longer before I venture out and find a suitable non-Jenny Craig substitute. Give the customer what they want... or lose the customer. It's simple business logic. (I've already been at the Lean Cuisine website.. and like what I see so far).

If anyone finds a similar dessert to the chocolate cherry cheesecake.. please share with us!

You can probably take the other cheesecakes and put cherry one them. I do that sometimes. Buy a frozen unsweetened fruit and heat it in the microwave.. then add a little splenda. It taste really good.

Are they getting rid of the meatloaf? I hadn't heard that.
traveling mom
Cambria,

It sounds like you are really getting upset about the cheesecake.

I will miss it too but that's not a reason to say you are going to switch to Lean Cuisine.

If you really don't like the food at JC then maybe you should switch to another program. We are all on this website for "positive" support.

Cambria is entitled to her opinion. This web site is about support. Having problems with the program and is an obstacle she has to deal with. She can come here for support or different takes on the situation. I think we'd all want to feel like we can vent if our favorite items was removed or JC took a turn for the worse.

There is also a feedback section on here, which is exactly for this type of post. If all feedback was positive it would be useless. Cambria, post your opinion there so they can actually read it. I'm not sure if they read all the sections. I actually wrote something in that section about the seasonal foods and how much I love the idea. I guess I view it a little differently.
traveling mom
JCgirl,

I totally agree with you about opinions and expressing them. I just feel bad for someone who get's so upset. Maybe writing a letter to JC Corporate expressing these things would be a good idea too?

Didn't mean to make it sound like we can't express opinions on this website. It's here for our support. Not angry rantings.

Have a nice evening!

I think we all still have that crazy lady in our heads that posted all over the site. That was annoying.

I think I have been misunderstood. I love the program and enjoy most of the food. Unfortunately, I fell in LOVE with the chocolate cherry cheesecake! I think Traveling mom has misinterpretted what I said. I am saying, that my money will purchase foods I like. The Jenny Craig plan does NOT plan on us eating ONLY JC food for the rest of our lives! I have NUMEROUS favorites which I have listed in the favorite foods thread! I miss the BBQ meatloaf.. but totally understand JC's reason for temporarily pulling it for purchase. That was taking care of their clients! Being in the program only 10 weeks, I'm taking baby steps in Meals on my Own (momo).. and I think I've received the right tools in doing so. But I stand by what I say in regards to business sense. And, you must remember, this IS a business. Provide what the customer wants. As far as writing to corporate... I was told by my counselor that this would be the best place to write, so I followed her advice. I donn't view what I wrote as angry rantings!

Thank you, JCgirl.. you gave some good advice about the feedback section! I will post there! I really think I have been positive in my support of the JC program. And I am DEFINATELY postiive I LOVE THAT CHEESECAKE! hehe... I agree - I don't want to hear all teddy bears and hearts.. I want to be able to vent as well as give 'high fives' to my JC buddies! If I sounded like a crazy... I'm sorry... but I really do love that cheesecake! Sorry if I sounded too overzelous!
traveling mom
Ha JcGirl!

I remember that lady. She was crazy :0

Have a good weekend!

Cambria,

No hard feelings here just trying to sing the praises of the JC program. I wish you luck! I tried the Cookies n Cream cheesecake for the first time a few days ago and I loved it. It's NO cherry chocolate cheesecake though sad.gif I agree with you on that one

I TOO LOVE THE CHOC CHERRY CHEESECAKE BUT WHEN I WENT LAST WEEK TO MY COUNSELOR SHE TOLD ME IT WAS JUST A PROMOTIONAL ITEM FOR VALENTINES DAY. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT -- IT WAS A FAVORITE OF MINE --
