I'm so tired of cold weather, snow & ice. I missed my weigh-in on Friday due to the roads being
very icy and it wasn't worth risking an accident driving the 15 miles each way. I have however
stuck to my diet plan and did venture to the center on Thursday to pick up food to have on hand.
They were sooooo busy that they did not have time to weigh me then, so here's hoping that this
Friday will be a good one. At least, as of 2/15, I was down 12 lbs in the 4 weeks, so that is my
inspiration until this Friday.

You are doing so fantastic! I lived in Iowa for 2 years and Colorado for 5, and understand how the cold ice and snow can get to you....spring is getting closer, but it probably feels like forever right now!

Good luck on your weigh in this Friday. I go in again on Wednesday...

Hi there,
I'm sick of the weather also but here in Oregon it is rain and more rain. My exercise is walking with my dog.
We both wear raincoats and are getting tired of it. Come on Summer!
I am a off and on JC person. I lose weight, quit for a few years, gain some back and go back to JC.
This time I started at 182 and my goal is 125. I am currently at 145 so feeling pretty proud of myself.
I am retired from a state job and live alone with my pug. Being alone makes it easier to keep on the diet as I have no one to blame except my self. I get into trouble when I don't want to go to the grocery to resupply on veggies and start cheating with junk food. I love veggies but hate grocery shopping. I wish I lived in a large enough town to get on a delivery system with Safeway or whoever delivers.
Another hard time for me is when I go out of town for a weekend or go to Floida to visit my grandchildren.
What do others persons do when they are one the verge of junk fooding out?

We had a miserable -22degrees here again this morning and I am really getting sick of it!! At least now it gets halfway decent during the day. I can't wait for the ice and snow to melt off the driveway and road so I can get outdoors and do some walking.

I love crocheting and it really helps to get at it when I have the munchies as it keeps my hands busy. I also love to read but unfortunately neither of these interests do much for burning calories. I did start doing some housecleaning but can only do so much at a time because of my knees and bad hip, but find I am able to do more at a time now that I could a year ago. I started going thru my clothes - getting rid of the baggy ones and found some summer items that actually fit now that I couldn't even get over my hips last year!! I am so hoping that once the weather gets a little nicer I can get outside and be a little more active!!
