I am a little nervous to try this. What is the best way to eat this pizza? How do you cook it, and how do you volumize it? Thanks!!

I usually add sliced mushrooms and maybe a few red peppers. It's pretty good once in awhile but it's not one of my favorites.

Avoid microwaving at all costs. The pizzas are way better when you bake them but keep an eye on them in the oven because I have found 15 minutes to be enough. Any longer and they burn. I add fresh mushrooms and some crumbled gorgonzola. And I rub a little olive oil on the edges of the crust so it doesn't get dried out.

I actually like it microwaved. Since I have always ended up taking it to work, I don't have a choice. I build mine up w/ chicken, more tomatoes and some spinich. (I hold a meat for this meal!)

I love love love this pizza! I have this twice a week. I cook mine in the oven on a pizza stone, but i agree that you have to really watch all of the pizzas in the oven, they will burn quickly. I add a touch of olive oil, artichoke hearts, or sometimes nothing. If you like pesto, you will like this pizza.

I usually eat the "lunch" pizza's at dinner time. I agree that they are best cooked in the oven/toaster oven. I really like both this one and the plain lunch variety. I always add garlic, oregano, sliced jalapeno's and sliced black olives to the pizza.
On the day that I am going to have the pizza, I will usually bring Penne Pasta or Lasagne to have for lunch on the day that I choose to have the pizza. (I would be more inclined to take the Pizza to the office for lunch, if they had a better "microwave crisping process" for this entree.)

I like to sautee a few onions, red and green peppers, mushrooms, and chopped up cherry tomatoes and place them on the pizza. I must have an iron stomach (hey I always liked airplane, hospital, and school cafeteria food) so I dont mind the pizza microwaved.

I love this pizza and have it at least once if not twice a week. I also cook in on a pizza stone and add fresh cherry tomatoes cut in quarters. I hadn't thought about rubbing the edges with olive oil. I have olive oil my husband has infused with fresh rosemary from our garden and may try that on the edges.

Yes, I agree...don't microwave the pesto pizza! I burned mine and the silver stuff from the tray stuck to the pizza. I had to throw it out. I will try the regular oven next time. Thanks!

How long do you microwave it for? I burned mine in the microwave.

I cook mine on a pizza stone and put the following veggies around it so that they kind of get saute'd in the oven. Then I put them on top of the pizza when it is done and sometimes even put the oven on broil for a few minutes. I do it this way because I found that if you load the pizzas up with veggies it is sometimes difficult for the entire pizza to get cooked all the way through especially when the veggies are bigger. I use red onion, green pepper, and mushrooms. What I can't fit on the pizza I just eat them. Janiebelle

First, I saute my veggies: onion, green pepper, mushrooms, etc., in a nonstick pan with a little EVOO wiped on. While the veggies are sauteing, I take the pizza out of the crisping wrapper and microwave the pizza on a plate until it is just about bubbly. MAYBE a minute--depends on your microwave.
Then I scoop the veggies onto a separate plate (for a moment), wipe out any moisture from the nonstick pan and put the pizza on it to crisp up the bottom. Then I pile all the veggies on top.
Weird, but it works for me.

I love the pesto pizza! I bring mine to work and let it sit in the fridge all morning to soften up a bit. Add artichoke hearts, roasted red pepper, or olives and then just follow the instructions on the box. So good!
