I don't get it. Jenny takes away the Beef Sirloin and adds a chicken dish, not so good. I wish if Jenny took foods away, they replace it with the same type. EX. Beef for Beef

I know, I really miss it, it was one of my fave's, I ate it twice to three times a week for dinner...::sigh::

What chicken dish did they add? I had ask in another thread where they were talking about all the foods they are going to discontinue like the chicken and rice for lunch.. and the sirloin bowl..

My question was what are they replacing them with? Do you guys know?

When they took away the Beef Sirloin they added the Beef Stroganoff, but my "beef" with that (sorry, lol) is that there's no comparison. The Beef Sirloin had honest slices of beef while the stroganoff just has little bits of meat swimming in gravy with pasta YET AGAIN. It's almost exactly like the Swedish Meatballs. The Beef Sirloin was unique. Now everything is either hamburger meat or little bits of meat in gravy. Yawn already!

It's the beef stroganoff a shelf stable meal. I think they should at least swap frozen for frozen. I hate the shelf stable meals except for the canned ones.

They added the Cajun Chicken & Sausage W/Rice I did not like it!

Isn't Beef Stroganoff almost the same as Swedish Meatballs? I'm only doing preplanned menus, so I haven't had the sirloin. But, the two times I've had the Swedish Meatballs, I keep thinking it tastes just like Stroganoff.

Maybe try the Beef w/ Mashed Potatoes? I don't mind that when i am craving Beef.

My guess is they discontinued the beef dish for cost reasons. I work for a food manufacturer and you would not believe how the cost of beef products has skyrocketed in the past 9-12 mos. I never had the chance to try the Beef Sirloin. It sounded wonderful.

My center still has them and i've been stocking up. I hope they have more next week. I'm going to buy a few more to stock and then I'll have to stop because I don't have anymore space in my freezer
