I am thinking of ordering some of the soups. I had heard some bad things about them so i avoided them but I think i should try some.
Can you please tell me your favorite and how it is packaged (ex: canned, in a microwavable bowl or is it dry where you add water)?

Hi,
I like the vegetable beef. It tastes like Cambell's VB. It comes in a can. Make sure you get the vegetable beef and not the garden vegetable. I have seen more complaints about the garden veggie, although I haven't tried it yet.
I also like the homestyle noodles with chicken. It's very basic in a flat black tray. I tried the chicken with sausage gumbo. I didn't like it because it was very bland. I had to add salt and I don't like to use extra salt. A lot of people like it though. It comes in microwaveable bowl.
Have a good week.

The potato soup is my favorite. I order several cans every week. The problem with asking people what foods they like best is everyone tastes are different. The potato soup has been trashed by many on this list. My friend loves the Italian wedding soup. I think it's okay. I also buy the Mexican tortilla soup. To me it's better than the Italian but it is very thin. Next time I fix it, I'm going to doctor it up somehow. You just have taste test them to find out which ones you like.

I am a big fan of most of the soups. The only one that I have tried that I had to throw away in the trash was the sausage gumbo. I really liked the vegetable beef soup. I had to add quite a bit of salt, though. (I use the morton's lite salt - VERY low sodium and it gets you more potassium. I've used it for years instead of salt.) I like the potato soup also. I "doctored" it up with some bacon bits, onion, FF cheddar cheese, broccoli, salt and pepper. (Next time I will leave the broccoli out.) The potato soup has a very strong garlic taste to it. So, if you don't like garlic, don't buy this one. My very favorite is the mexican tortilla soup. I add lots of salt, lots of salsa, a little FF cheddar cheese and LF sour cream. It's delicious!!!! I hope this helps.

My favorite soup is the chicken sausage gumbo. But I add things to it. I add a little better than boullion chicken base it is high in sodium so I only use a little. I also add 1 slice of fat free american cheese. I usually have a meat left over from breakfast so I use it from that. Then it taste wonderful it is creamy and cheesey but I am sure both of those things add sodium so I don't have it every day. The potato soup was good but i added stuff to it too. I thinned it out with a little skim milk and chicken broth I added a little cooked onion 1 teasp real bacon bits and 1 tab frozen corn. I know this isn't exactly the way you are suppose to do it because I may be adding things that are not on JC but it made this soup really wonderful and it didn't add that many cal. Both soups are a little spicy though.

I really love the creamy potato soup! I doctor it up with some garlic and mushrooms sauteed in Pam spray. The other nice thing about it is that you get a starch exchange - so you can have a piece of bread and dip it into the soup. I miss carbs, so it's a nice treat.
The Mexican Tortilla Soup was watery, but definitely has potential. I think I may get it again and mix in a Tbsp. of half and half, just to see if that thickens it up.

I have to agree with GoBrowns. Everyone's tastes vary. This week I bought several of the soups that I have never tried before- to try them and to have something different. If I like them, great! That is even more variety!
So far I do like almost all of the soups- I'm not a "picky eater" really.
I've also done this "buy and test one for myself" with the other JC foods. Great way to find out for yourself and expand your choices on the JC menus.
