Has anyone eaten the meals that don't have to be frozen? Swedish meatballs, rotini and chicken and beans? They have a scary listing of preservatives. Are they any good? Can I return them and switch with other foods?

Some of the shelf stable foods are my favorites. I love the SW Chicken, Rice & beans, and the Cookout Style Chicken & beans. The rotini and the tortellini are good also. I liked the Swedish Meatballs but they were a little "peppery" for my taste. I don't usually put pepper in my food so I really taste it... You should give them a try!

I think the rotini & meatballs is about the best food on the planet.... volumize it with onions, mushrooms and brocolli and you have a FEAST!

The homestyle chicken and noodles is more like a soup, but it's very good too -- as is the creamy potato soup.

I also agree that the cookout chicken and beans is great.

I was a little hesitant on the shelf-stable stuff, too -- but I think most of it is very, very good.
