On the old site, I saw many different threads where people said that they added "rotel tomatos" to their JC foods. Can you tell me what you like to add rotel to? Thanks!!

Last night I added 1/2 can of rotel to the chili con carne. I spiced it up, and made the serving much larger. YUM!!!

[font="Tahoma"]I haven't tried it, but maybe Rotel would make the Chicken Tortilla soup taste like something besides water! I was seriously disappointed in it and haven't tried it again.

The Chicken Tortilla soup probably would benefit from some rotel. I do LOVE the tortilla soup, though. I add some FF cheddar cheese, some LF sour cream and lots of salsa! YUMMY!!!

Thanks for the wonderful idea. I had never even tried Rotel until this week. I've added it to my chilis with a bit of nonfat sour cream and steamed green pepper. It was delicious!

I add rotel to the breakfast scramble, chilis, cheesy enchilada, sw chicken burrito and gumbo soup. I have even put a little on the salisbury steak. I haven't tried the tortilla soup yet but will definitely add some to it as well.

I haven't tried it yet but I just thought of it and I'm going to try it...what about adding them to the mac and cheese?

You guys are awesome! I can't wait to try rotel on more of the foods!! Thanks for the suggestions.

Is Rotel some sort of regional brand? I've never heard of it and I live in the Northeast. When I saw this thread I thought to myself, "Why would anyone want to add high-end Japanese audio/visual equipment to their JC foods?" LOL wink.gif

I just saw it yesterday, it was on a side isle next to all kinds of chili making supplies. Looked to be cut up tomatos and green chilis. about 60 cents a can. Im getting some next time.

You can find it where the mexican food is or where the canned tomatoes are. Rotel is the brand name. There are others made by Ole El Paso and other companies and in the canned tomato section it is just diced tomatoes with green chilis.
