Sunny2020
Friday, August 3, my food arrives ... so I made it a point today to get my hair cut and my eyebrows waxed.
Like the look?

Sunny- I love your attitude What a great idea to get yourself all ready for the next great steps of your life's journey I just had my eyebrows waxed for the first time a couple of weeks ago to celebrate by third .2 loss (yes, my baby steps are teeny, weeny) and I looked soooo different, in a good way...Fun stuff
Can you tell I love these little instant graemlins-I don't have them on my regular email, so I tend to get a bit carred away here...

hee hee hee ocean ... i love those characters too
the "cool" one is my favortie ... looks like me with my glasses lol
Before nerve damage in my arms and hands 2 years ago, I occasionally treated myself to an eyebrow wax -- now, that's the only way possible (can't hold the tweezers and not enough strength to pull off the cloth strip if I waxed them myself). But as you understood, I did it today rather than waiting till later this month to celebrate my "vacation at the spa." I think of it that way because I took some of my vacation savings to pay for the Rewards Program and because having so much menu planning and food prep done for me makes me feel as if I'm going to a spa for the next month!
Hope your day/evening is going well. It's been interesting today that just knowing I've taken steps to change what I can (by signing up and committing myself) has made me calmer ... makes a big difference for me because almost all of my overeating is from using food as a "drug" to soothe the hurts inside. My appetite has dropped to ideal ... have been hungry only when my stomach was empty and haven't been tempted to snack at all. Nothing else in my life has changed and I've even had the usual stresses of the heat, business phone calls, etc. .... but my body is already functioning better. That's a biggie!
Oh my! Did you know that if you use more than 8 of the emoticons in a message, you're taken to a screen where it tells you that you've exceeded what's allowed? Laughing my head off! Tooooooooo funny!
