I was so excited to see this board but it doesn't seem like anyone is really talking! What do you all do? Where do you live? If in a relationship, are your partners doing this with you and/or supportive of you doing this? I'd love to hear from/about you!

Hi Ann. No there is not much posting on this board. I am an RN. My partner did not start the diet with me but after I lost a majority of it she joined and has lost 14 pounds. Started out only wanting to lose 10 so she is done. I still have a couple to go although not working as hard at it as I was.
How are you doing on the program?

Hey all!! I am doing this on my own, but my partner is totally supportive which makes it sooooo much easier!! I am a teacher living on the west coast!! One of my reasons/goals for losing weight and working out more is to get ready to play softball in the gay olympics, in Chicago this July!! Much success to all!!

I am single, and have the support of my biological family. I haven't told any of my friends that I started JC, cause I want this to be a huge surprise for them.
They know I am working on myself and spending time doing a lot of introspection right now, so this will floor them.
I'm a lawyer, and active in 12 step programs for my addictions. I so love my recovery, and am trying to apply the one day at a time to this program as well.
Progress not perfection.

wow it's so great to hear from all of you!
maisey - glad you're doing so well with the program and that your partner decided to join and was successful, too! i'm doing really well on this so far - 6.6 total lbs lost as of yesterday's weigh in so i'm pretty excited about that! my girlfriend has lost 4 total since joining - i love that we're doing it together
sball - i'm a teacher, too! what do you teach? and how do you play softball for the gay olympics?? that would be so fun! i played in college and coach now. are you out at the school you teach at? i teach exceptional children at the high school level, and i'm out to the teachers i communicate with outside of school and a couple who are simply colleagues, but not to students.
denny - i'm so glad for you that your family is supporting you! i'm kind of opposite from you in that i'm telling EVERYone that i'm doing jc. see, i'm very much a social eater and i feel like if my friends/family know i'm doing this, they won't be as likely to ask me to go to eat or have deliciously scrumptious food sitting out when i'm around
anyway i'm really glad to hear from you all and am looking forward to being able to share more in the future have a good weekend if we don't talk before then!

I work at a medical lab in Southern California, and am single.
My mother joined a few weeks before I did, and got me started, so she and I are supporting each other in this.
I'm glad that you started this topic. I was thinking the same thing, about no one really posting much!

and then go figure it takes me almost a week to respond sorry! i'm glad you and your mom are doing this together, that must be nice!
