Hi everyone! This is my first time on JC. Was wondering if there are any members from the Rio Grande Valley area here? I am having my first WI tomorrow & to tell you the truth I am very nervous. The food is wonderful & the message board is great. I know that with everyone in here I can probably stay on track.

Well, I am not in the Rio Grande Valley now! I am outside of Dallas. BUT, we moved here 8 years ago from ABQ! I actually started JC 11 years ago when we lived there!
I miss ABQ so much! It is so humid here! HA!
Anyway, had a WI today! Down my first 10 pounds! How are you guys doing?

actually i live in san juan, tx but it's great to know both of you. Wow maryjo, you did it! Your starting weight is similar to mine & your goal weight is too. Would you mind telling me your story? I would love to know any tips that helped you hit your goal. Holly, great job as well.

Hi I'm from the Rio Grande Valley.It's my first time on JC. I'm from Harlingen, it's great finding someone local. I started Oct. 26, 2008. Started in at 177lbs. and I'm down to 163lbs. I'm starting to miss the real food, even though JC food is great! I want to stay focus on lossing weight. My goal is 135lbs.

Hey, I'm from Edinburg, TX. I'm 28 and started Feb25. How are you liking it? This is my second time on JC. The first time I had started I went down 20lbs in 6weeks. I had done the 20lbs for $20 and now I'm on the life time plan.

I am in McAllen and just started Jenny on Monday evening. I am doing the 20lbs for $20 and am a bit nervous about it too. I pulled the scale out of my bathroom so that I won't weigh myself at home and rather wait to be weighed there next week. I have started running again and am hoping to keep it up. I am 32 and need to lose about 40lbs. I felt a bit pushed by the sales consultant b/c she thinks I should drop down to 135lbs. I am 5'8" and haven't been 135 since right after high school. Honestly, I think 135 is too thin for me. I will be happy at 150lbs.

I am from RGV too. I live in Edinburg actually. This is the first time that I have ever been on Jenny Craig. I currently weight 227 and my realistic goal is 156 lbs., but the sales consultant thinks I can weigh 128 lbs. I guess we will see. I would love to have some online buddies from the RGV. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Hi Luvbug and Terry..I am from McAllen too. and I just started JC on the 24th of October..I had my first WI last Saturday and I lost 4.5 lbs..it was such a great feeling!

I need to loose right at 100 lbs for me to feel my best..I am only looking forward and have no plans to end up back here ever again! It is nice to see some other folks from way down in deep South Texas

How are you girls doing on the program? Terry are you still on since I see that you have not been on since Sept.

Luvbug how have the first few days gone for you? Are you volumizing? Good luck with you first WI!
