IS IT OK FOR ME TO JOIN YOUR DISCUSSION GROUP? MY HUSBAND IS RETIRED AIR FORCE BUT I REALLY MISS THE MILITARY CONNECTION. I HAVE BEEN A J.C. MEMBER SINCE JAN 06. I CAN RELATE TO YOUR HUSBANDS BEING IN IRAQ. MINE WAS IN VIETNAM.

THANK YOU. HOW DO YOU POST YOUR PROFILES THAT ARE AT THE END OF YOUR MESSAGES? I NOTICED THAT MINE HAS ONLY MY DISPLAYED NAME.

HI Texas. I sent you a Private Message on how to do it, but it's in your profile page. Edit/View profile, then add whatever you want in your "signature line".

Thanks, I will give the profile a try. I am not doing very well this week. I have a lot of stress to work thru. My current goal is 240. I hope I can make that by 16 May.

hi everyone. I went for my 4th week weigh today and I am down another 2.2 lbs. I have now lost 8.2 lbs total and have also lost 8 inches. i cannot wait to see if my husband notices the changes. He should be home in 3 more weeks.

Hey there retired military wives!!
Saw this post and knew I was home.....we retired from the Navy about 10 yrs ago, but I still miss the lifestyle, the familiness of everything. I miss the quick friendships I could make in the exchange or in the laundrymat. It was kind of like this: "Hey which tower do you live in?" "want to go and grab a salad at the club?" Just too easy. Now I am waving at my neighbors for like WEEKS and they still don't get the hint. Granted it has gotten easier, or I have just gotten more brave or bossy... So now I have a son in the Navy, and I feel that same pang in my heart as long ago, but of course different. He is 20 and is on a frigate and just having a ball. I have found an emotional anchor with this program that I haven't found anywhere else. It's something that has made my confidence factor go up and it feels great. Any of you gals know that you can yak, yell, or boast at me anytime.

Hello everyone!

I'am from New Orleans, but spent 23 years in TEXAS! We moved from Texas to the North in 07

My husband retired from the Air Force just before his next deployment. I did JC back in 1993 and I maintaned the weight even after having 3 babies (all Boys) We moved in 2007 to WrightPat. And, with the move I noticed I was putting some weight on. Getting 3 boys adjusted to new schools, new home etc..... You military wives know what I'am talking about??? Then my husband retired then we built a home and with all of that I seemed to forget about myself. And, here I am 30 pounds heaiver!!!!!

I go to Jenny Criag on Monday biggrin.gif I can not weight. Believe it or not I'am a fitness instructor and 30 pounds on my is not good. I love to exercise so that will not be an issue. My thing I think is portion contorl. I forgot all about portion control. And, I forget to eat some times. Which is really bad on the metabolizm. That just slowes it down. Sham on me!!

I look foreward to Monday. I hope with the new year they offer a better deal then the 20lbs for 20 bucks take care and God Bless! Happy New Year
