After 5 weeks of eating the same veggie options, I decided to do the breakfast and lunch only, and do my own dinners for variety. My Center was fine with that because they saw how limited my choices are. I feel like I eat the same food over and over again, and the lunch pizza has 2 artificial colors in it. Once I realized that, I stopped buying it.
I called tonight and left a message for the staff, hoping they will get the message that this program doesn't work well for vegetarians.

I totally feel ya! I ate the same food for over a year...boring. I occasionally will buy a few items, but mostly I have switched to a different diet plan. My personal trainer's wife is cooking my meals weekly. We will see if I have a loss. I really would like jc to be more supportive of vegetarians, I would have stuck with them.

Hello,
I am also disappointed with the vegetarian options. They have dropped vegetarian meals such as paste ole and southwestern beans...and added more meat or meatless (fake meat dishes). The plan is catered more to people who eat meat or want to eat "like" a vegetarian to loose. I have been a vegetarian all my life (lacto not vegan). On the positive side, I did this program many years ago and dropped 32 lbs. I am older now and am looking for serious results. I think it's the snacks (choc. cake, etc.) and meal portion size that keeps me in check. Good luck!

I agree that the vegetarian options are very limited. There were a lot more options when I was on the program ten years ago. I need to lose weight so badly, that I am willing to deal with the limited options as long as I can stand it. Although, I wish they would bring back some of the old favorites, like the vege burger and stuffed shells.

Man I miss the Pasta Ole, Veggie Burgers, Stuffed Shells, Carrot Muffins.
Thir main complaint to us it that it wasn't profitable for them. How profitable can it be if they are losing veggie clients that they no longer have? Like Duh! They just don't get it.

That's nuts. There are pleanty of meat eaters that enjoy the vege meals. All they have to do is come up with more vege meals that appeal to everyone and then we all come out winners. You can't tell me that the Pasta Ole wasn't popular with everyone!
