JC!!! PLEASE HELP US!!! YOU'RE KILLING US HERE!!!!
Not only do we only have one menu a week to work with but we have so many doubles!!! Twice a week, pasta ole, twice a week penne pasta and twice a week lasagna!!!! I think that the Stuffed shells that you took away from us, tasted a lot better than the lasagna! The lasagna can use a little improving. That is twelve times a month the same foods over and over! 144 days a year, that is almost like eating the same foods for a half a year.
I mean I love the Florentine Ravioli so much that I can eat it twice a day every day of the week, but that is not going to help me to get this weight off.
How about adding Pesto Pizza and Florentine Ravioli to our menu?
Some veggie people do eat eggs and cheese, why not make a sunshine sandwich with cheese and adding it and the cheese cake to the menu? I personally do not like eating anything with animal parts in it like the Rennet, but many cheeses on the market do not have that in them. Can JC try being a little more creative here?
How about some spinach and cheese manicotti made similar to the Ravioli's? How about surprising us with at least a second week veggie menu to choose from so that we can at least alternate it?
How about a veggie meat loaf with fries? How about some soy products? How about a mini veggie casserole or a veggie pot pie? If the companies that make Lean Cuisine, Healthy Choice, Weight Watchers, etc., can make a variety of veggie meals to choose from, why can't JC?
Ever think of making the Chicken sandwich with just Broccoli and Cheese? I have picked out the chicken many times and it was delicious without it. Like what do we have to do to get you to help us?? At least when I first joined JC, you didn't have a lot of doubles on the Meatless menu.
Please come up with something to help us out here. Do something to show us that you are listening to us and that you at least care. This is so very frustrating!!!! At least let us know that you are working on a new veggie menu for us and that we do have something to look forward to. Every time we hear that there are new foods coming out and there is nothing for us, it is upsetting and then when you add new foods like the Pesto Pizza and the Florentine Ravioli, then at least add it to our one and only menu to choose from. I am sure that you do not want to lose anymore of us JC veggie people. You are a really great company and your program does work, we just need more variety.

Ok, don't raise your voices if you don't want to. I was just trying to get us some more menu options. I guess we have just given up on trying. I don't blame you for I am feeling the very same way. I guess we will just have to make the best of it with what we do have to work with, the main thing is that the program does work and we are losing weight, I guess once we finally hit our goals, we can give our selves more options. I guess it will be more of an incentive to reach our goal weight just so that we can have more of our own options.

I have been asking for more veg foods since 1999 and the menu is still the same. I think we are out of luck!!!!

Man! That is a long time to have the same menu. I give up too. We will all just have to hurry up and lose the weight and learn how to create our own meals. I was hoping to loose the weight and stick with JC foods just because I love it so much, but need more variety to stick with it when I do.

Hello, I have a suggestion for some of you. I know that the meals must get boring, why not try buying a couple lean cuisines, weight watchers, etc. For just a couple meals a week. When you go to the store for your veggies etc, just pick up 3 or 4 that have the same calorie counts and substitute them. I know that JC is all about the food, but as long as the calories are the same, then why not have some variety! Jenn

I do that too! The Lean Cuisine makes a delicious Fettucini Alfredo with Broccoli Florets and it is Hmmmm! Hmmmm! Good!

riblets are good. Garden Burger makes em, and they go well with a side of green beans.

I used to be a vegetarian. I don't think that i would pick this diet if I were still one and wanted to lose weight. Bottom line, it's really still not that common (ESP. with the Atkins craze these days), at least not common enough for a large weightloss corporation to implement the production of vegetarian meals. The cost does not outweigh the profit in their eyes.
If I were still a vegetarion, I would use parts of this diet, but would not do the planned menu. I would go to the menu creator, plug in as many of the Jenny veggie meal options as possible, print it out then fill in the other meals using the exchange guide (whether they are boca, Amy's or made by me). If you plan it properly, you can still incorporate Jenny meals, fill in the holes with the proper exchanges, and still lose weight. Sorry, while I sympathize, I just don't think that you can even expect JC to put too much cost and energy into satisfying a niche client.
Just my suggestion. . .

I have been doing the personalized menu and only doing vegetarian. At least I can choose what I want each day. I would love to see some tofu dishes. Yes, it would be nice to have more variety on the vegetarian plan. I am glad I am not the only vegetarian who has joined- I couldnt decide if it was going to work for me with such limited choices every day. Has anyone lost a significant amount of weight doing only Jenny Craig vegetarian meals?

I don't even ask them to add more dishes, I just want them to take the animal-ingredient out of the dishes that are usually animal-free to begin with; like macaroni & cheese, pesto pizza, stuffed shells. There's no reason for nasty melted chicken fat to be in any of those.

Vegetarianism is in no way "niche"! Perhaps if JC would offer more choices for vegetarians, more vegetarians would join the program.
I lost 45 lbs 9 years ago on a vegetarian JC diet. Unfortunately, after my second pregnancy, I was never able to lose the weight and gained even more--so here I am again...

I have been doing the veggie menu for 4 weeks now and suprised how many of the JC meals have animal by-product. That is why we are so restriscted. Not FAIR. I really don't know to many people that would eat rennet if they knew what it was. I did find some power bars that are excellent and have no animal by products so I use them istead of the prailine anytime bars.
Veggies need to stick together and we will hit JC where it hurts the $$$$. Off to the supermarket to pick up a few WW dinners.
