Hi, I am new to Jenny Craig. I need some encouragement. What do you do when you need the munchies? null

Dear Abbylucy's Mom:
Welcome aboard!!!
With me, what I do is I eat one item at a time, apx every two hours. I do not like to choose to eat cereal, banana and milk for breakfast, because I cannot spread them out every two hours like I can when I do not have cereal for breakfast. Although I do have it once in a while, just to keep variety in my meals.
What I like to do for example is eat a Banana at 6:00 am. A Honey Oat Bar at 8:00am, a non fat yogurt at 10:00. A Broccoli and cheese Baked potato at 12:00pm, a salad at 2:00pm and a fruit at 4:00pm. Stuffed Shells at 6:00pm (veggies) Broccoli with JC ranch dressing at 8:00pm, a non fat yogurt at 10:00pm and if I happen to still be up like at 12:00pm then a couple of sugar free Jello's with fat free whipped cream. And if you have those vitamin bars, they are a great munchie snack to munch on too!
But you get the idea. It all depends on what calorie menu you have. But if you eat one thing every two hours and drink 8 glasses of water throughout the day, it gets you through the day. When I first started if I was still hungry and it was the end of the day and I had all ready eaten everything there was to eat on the plan, then I had one extra fruit or a slice of 45 calorie toast with "I Can't Believe It Is Not Butter Spray" which has zero calories. Or sip on a can of diet soda. That seems calm down the munchies. Also, every time I felt like eating, I would jump on the JC website and read everyone's messages and start e-mailing my JC friends, that seemed to pass the time while I sipped on water.
Also, after trying for 23 years to lose weight, before I started JC, I had given up all hope of ever being able to lose weight again. But thanks to JC I have gone from a size 26W to a size 18W and I am still losing. If I can do it, you can do it too!
Keep us posted and let us know how it goes.

Thank you for replying for munchies question. You have given me more help than you know. I feel better already about how to plan my eating for the day. How long have you been with Jenny Craig? Did it take you long to get with the program? Have a great evening.
