Sharing Happy News with my support group!
First! After being laid off of work for almost a whole year, I finally have a brand new job to go to starting Monday morning! It is also a job that I am looking forward to having. It's a M-F, daytime office position, close to where I live.
Second! I am down 40.4lbs. I have been up and down the same 5 pounds for the past few weeks so I am hopeing that once I get into a routine with a new job and all, I will lose those 5 pounds and keep going in the right direction. It being cold out from time to time has cut into my swimming exercise and I was getting into a depressed state of mind. So hopefully, things will turn around for me and I will be hitting my first 50lb loss in no time.
Third! The past few days, I have spent all of my spare time, taking in all of my pants and blouses like 4-5 inches everywhere so I will have my wardrobe set for my new job.
New job! New size! New weight loss! New attitude! What more can you ask for? Can't wait till I hit my 50lb mark! Will keep you guys posted!

Well, I survived my first week at work. I love my new job. Love it! Love it! Love it!
Unfortunately, I had to deal with that time of the month the whole week.
The girls are really nice where I work, but they keep bringing in cake, candy, cookies etc. and they keep insisting on sharing with me. They are just being nice and being sociable, but it has been a real challenge for me.
I miss being able to go swimming, but I come home from work wanting to go straight to bed. Maybe I can get brave and start going on little walks on my lunch break.
I am still at the same weight. No more and no less, so I have to try harder this week to get into some kind of exercise routine and resist the temptations of everyone wanting to share with me.
There is one girl there that is a true inspiration to me, she says no to just about everything that everyone offers her. I have to get over feeling like I am hurting someone's feeling when I say no thanks! Then there is another girl that sits near me that eats from the time that she gets there until the time that she leaves. Anyway, these are new challenges for me that I have to work on.
As far as bringing my JC lunch and snacks everyday, I must admit I have done a pretty good job all week and that vitamin bar comes in pretty handy between breakfast time and lunch time. I keep hoping that JC comes out with a chocolate covered marshmallow one, it will taste like the Charleston Chews.
Well, forward and onward to another challenging week at work on JC. Say a little prayer for me, I need all the help that I can get.
Love you guys!
~Connie
