How is everyone doing on their JC program???
My scale has been steadily moving down and the inches slowly but surely melting away..... "But" the past few days, my scale started moving up a few pounds. Don't know if I am plateauing again! PMSing, just slacking off in my exercise routine ....or all of the above. But I better shake a leg and get my scale moving back into the right direction again!

Hi Connie. I had my weigh in yesterday and for the first time it showed a gain. I gained 4.4 pounds in two weeks. Not good but i know what i have to do. It is just so hard to get back on track but i am slowly but surely doing it. I hope for a good week this week so i can get back in the 160's. My goal is so close that i don't want to mess up now. Good Luck to you too.

Hello, Connie Dear (and all my veggie friends)!
Well, I am having a helluva week this week, but I have been inching toward goal lately. My counsellor asked me Saturday "Is there anything coming up this week that could interfere with your goals for staying on program and going to the gym?" Well, I didn't think there was at the time. My husband was away for 3 days, and I comforted my loneliness with practically every carb in the house. I was extra mad at myself because I usually do pretty well when he is away. But I am back on the wagon today. Think good thoughts for me for Saturday's weigh in!

Hi Connie!! I have to say that food-wise, I'm still doing great. I guess because I really like the food. I didn't even have any problems with all the candy around at Halloween.
The thing I've been struggling with is the exercise. I haven't done a thing. I am much, much, much more active and full of energy, but I haven't started really exercising on purpose. I have this awesome exercise bike sitting in my living room that has now become a clothing display rack. Walking would be perfect, now that I am able to .... but I just can't get my butt out there. It has become a joke when I go in the centre. One week I promised to at least pull my sneakers out of the closet and try them on to see if they fit again, or if I need to buy new ones.... and I couldn't even remember to do that much <lol!> I should go and do it right now, but I'm sure I'll find something else to distract me by the time I sign off here.
The funny thing is that I know from experience that once I start exercising I will become addicted to it and won't be able to go a day without it. I just have to START!!!

Joann - I am with you on that wagon.
Deedee - Thinking....Thinking....good thoughts....good thoughts....How did you do?
Smileygirl - too bad you didn't have a swimming pool in your living room.
It is so much fun exercising in the pool, stress free on your back and very noticable, toning wise, once you make it a habit. Now that the cold weather is coming, I am seeking a Health Club with a Pool, but I do not think that there are any close by.
Hopefully here in Florida, it will be a short winter.

Thanks for the good thoughts, Connie! I did, um, about how I expected . But I know why, and how I can fix it.
Smiley, I am into the exercising now, and I can't tell you what a difference it makes. I only made it once this week (too busy sniffling with a cold and self-pity), and let me tell you, the bad habits just snowballed !
I am back on track now, though. How about you, Newf? It is so hard getting it together after a trip. Look for me in Nine in November!
