What can you expect when you do get to lower your calorie count? Do you get more hungry, having less food? Do you start feeling deprived after being used to a higher calorie count? Do you get more energy?

Connie, I was having a hard time getting all my fruits in on the 1500 calorie level so I didn't miss the extra fruit. I did miss the extra fat, milk and starch exchanges. In a nutshell, yes, I got more hungry, but didn't really feel deprived. I just learned how to spread the food out a bit more thinly and it worked okay.

I didn't have too many problems. I wasn't too tought on myself the first week or 2. If I was feeling really hungrey, I would allow and extra vege or fruit. I figured it wasn't a magic number when I all of a sudden needed 300 cals less, so if it took a week or 2 to adjust with a few days slightley higher then not much harm would be done.
I did notice the odd day when I really needed the extra, but it was not too bad. What I do somtimes miss is having the extra exchanges for getting creative with the jenny food. Just have to plan it a bit better.
Good luck with the new cal level, this is a sure sign that you are getting nearer to goal!
