Yay! Thanks to Connie and everyone else for your support! Sorry I have been away from the message board for a bit--as you may recall I had/have the houseguest from hell and work has been busy--but I have been trying to keep with the program. I switched my weigh in days to Saturday and that seems to be working better (although I miss my old counselor, she was more experienced)...
Anyway, my great news is that yes, I finally lost my first 50 pounds!!! Yay--actually I am up to 53 pounds now!!! And I am 11 pounds from my half way point!!! Yippie!!! I am so excited! As some of you know I had been thinking of what a good (nonfood) reward was and I came up with going to a fancy beauty salon and getting my hair cut and highlighted, so I did it--and I love it!!! Like a whole new me!!!! (I used to have super long light brown hair and I had about 10 inches cut so it is just above the shoulder and I got blond sunny highlights--in case yall wanted details!)
Anyway, hopefully I'll be posting more regularly again! I sure missed you guys--and Connie, once again, thank you for the cards and everything, you are a very special woman!

Yippie!!! Yahooooo!!!! Hooray!!!! You did it!!! Way to go Dogfish!!!! I am so "VERY" happy for you!!! And your new hairdo sounds adorable, professional and sophisticated. What was everyone's reaction at work? 11 more pounds to half way!!! Yay!! You can do it! Doesn't it feel so very great!! I can't wait to get to where you are. I have about 20 more pounds to make it to my first 50, but hearing that you made it there, gave me new motivation. My Husband was thrilled to see me fit into an outfit that I haven't worn in years. Two sizes smaller. Your boyfriend must be thrilled too! He must feel like he has a new girlfriend. Both in looks and with a new "can do" anything attitude. Keep up the good work. All of your hard work is paying off.

unfortunately I gained this week But I am pms-ing and my lower back kills, so I am thinking that has something to do with it. I am uping my H2O intake. I feel okay about it--but if I still have the weight next week I'll be upset...
