This has been a rough weekend for me. With my 25th Wedding Anniversary, my friends 30th Anniversary. Friends visiting from out of town. Get to-gethers with old friends etc. I am afraid that I am not doing a very good job at all, this Holiday weekend.
Boy! Being overweight is like being an alcoholic. I went to my friend's Anniversary party last night, had one taste of non JC food and completely went off the program for the whole meal. Talk about pigging out!
Good news is, I was able to fit into an outfit that I haven't fit into in like three years and I was actually able to dance with my Husband for the first time in a few years. So I better get back on the wagon and behave myself.
I have another get together to go to this afternoon. Hope to do better this time around. I hope that they have lots of salads and veggies there.
Anyway, how is everyone else's weekend going? Anyone else having a rough time with sticking to the program this weekend?

I had a hard time too. My mother & I threw a bridal shower for my brother's fiancée. Of course, we had wayyyyy too much food for the amount of people there. I tried to be good, sticking to veggies and fruit, and only one sandwich. But, my mom got this amazing strawberry/angelfood/real whipped cream cake from this great German bakery...and I had to have a piece. Then, there was the coolers.....! Anyhow, it was fun but I think all the rich food upset my stomach so I couldn't sleep last night. Now I feel like I have a hangover or something! The good thing is I must have gone up & down the stairs to the basement about 50 times lugging coolers, tables, etc., so at least I got some exercise!

Well, gals, I am right there with you! I had a fridge full of leftovers from the 4th, and for some reason I was just nibbling like mad, even stuff that wouldn't usually bother me. To top it off, who did I see when I was at a club imbibing a sugary non-Jenny drink but my COUNSELLOR. Whoopsie! She's very nice, and she sure wasn't there for the purpose of hassling me!
Well, ladies, today is a brand new day (well, newer for me on the west coast than for you). Get out your Jenny food and for gosh sakes toss those leftovers if there are any lurking in your fridge.
Have a great week!

Well, guys, it looks like we were not alone. I read a couple of messages posted in other Forums and it looks like we weren't the only ones having a very hard time this week end. In the Advise Forum someone posted: "I cheated, what now?" In the Hang in there Forum someone posted: "Totally blew it!"
Yesterday, my 35 friends decided to go to an Italian Restaurant to eat instead of going to someone's house. So I thought, fine, I will stick to salad. Once inside I my invisible evil twin talked me into having their delicious lasagna, that is better than my homemade lasagna, that I never get to eat and I talked myself into having it. I thought to myself, "I'll go home and fill up on veggies if I get hungry when I get home. But I never did.
So we all have to get together and get back on track together. I am half way through my day, it is 3:43pm here. So far so good. Now to work on getting through the rest of the day. I haven't dared stood on the scale to weigh myself yet as of yet.
Anyway, we can do this together. Lets get back on track and have a great JC week.

Don't get on the scale at home, silly rabbit! It only leads to angst. Pleeeease wait until your counselling appt. so you have support right there. We are as close as your computer, but the fridge might be closer still. Don't be all in a rush to beat yourself up, woman!
