Hi Everyone,
Some people wanted to know how I became a vegetarian. I have always wanted to be a vegetarian but never really tried until I did a 5 minute speech on animal cruelty and testing. Since I have been an animal activist, well I try to do my part anyway. And I love animals so much I have no Idea why I was eating them. Well hopefully I can keep it up, Its hard because I am only 15 and live with my parents and they arent vegetarians but since I started JC it has been so easy!! thanks for all of your support!!!

WOW!!! Heather, I am impressed! If you were my daughter, I would be real proud of you! So, when will you be 16? Are you an only child? Whats are your favorites on JC?

PS: Way to go Heather on your first 4 pounds. You did better than me. I think I lost like 3.6lbs on my first week. But I sure knowt that it wasn't four. I have never lost 4lbs on JC in one week, but I would really love to. Did you follow the veggie menu the first week and did you do any exercise? Keep up the good work! You're doing really great!

It's me again! The very first week that I was on JC, I felt like I was forcing myself to eat so much. I felt like I was stuffing my face all day long. I was afraid to get on the scale and weigh myself. I thought for sure, if I did, I was going to show a gain, because I felt like I was eating all day long. But I did show a loss and I was so thrilled.
Keep up the good work! You are off to a good start!

Heather.... congratulations! That is really cool. And I applaud you becoming a vegetarian at such a young age. I know it is hard sometimes, especially when you have a lot of meat-eaters around. I have found over the years though, that being a vegetarian can be contagious.... at least a little bit. Slowly, as the months and years go by, I've noticed people in my family actually eating the food that I eat and liking it. My mom or sisters-in-law would make special non-meat dishes with me in mind at family gatherings and everybody else would end up eating it on me. Now that I'm eating healthy now too, there always seems to be fresh fruits and veggies everywhere I go. So hang in there - maybe some of your eating habits will rub off on your family. And keep up the great work !!
