I called my brother the other day to tell him something and I usually don't have to identify myself, but for a moment he didn't seem to know it was me. Then he laughed and told me I sounded thinner!! That was a first.
It might be true - before I started eating healthy, I always had excess phlegm in my throat... was always coughing up stuff or having to clear my throat before I spoke, constantly. Ever since the first two weeks of losing the water weight, all that has gone away. So maybe my voice is clearer and stronger - who knows...
My boyfriend says I sound the same, but he hears my voice every day so he might not notice.
I've been on diets probably half my life and nobody has ever said that to me. It had me laughing all day every time I thought about it.
Anyway, I was just wondering if anybody else has received strange compliments or comments about their progress.... I would love to hear about them.

Well, no one has ever said that I sounded thinner. "BUT" I have noticed that before JC, when I used to leave voice mail messages and check them before I sent them on their way, I sounded nasal, congested, hoarse, tired, weak, older and worn out.

Since I have been on JC and I have started losing weight and I have check my voice messages before I have sent them on their way, I no longer sound nasal, congested, hoarse, tired and worn out. I do sound clearer, stronger and more alive and healthier.
When I brought it to my Husband's attention, then he did noticed the difference too.
Good health and well being does show up in our voices. When I call my sister up in NY she can always tell how I am feeling health wise, just by the tone of my voice.

I was told,by a coworker I eat lunch with, that I look like I have lost weight. She can tell because my face is thinner.
Also last night I was told there was something different about me. That I am perkier more energetic.
