Full Version: Broke My Plateau!!!! Yippie!!!
Jenny Craig > Support Buddy Groups > Vegetarians

Hip!!!Hip!!!Hooray!!! I am having a Zippidy, Doo, Daa, Jenny Craig Day!!!! Happy!!! Happy! Joy!! Joy!! Do I sound "Happy" or what? Down 23lbs since I started. Now I am working on my next goal of 25lbs. Just two pounds away!
Variety is the key. I just stuck to the Vegetarian Menu and a few days of the Ultimate Choice Menu and alternated the days. Only having one of each thing per week. Before I was doing all Ultimate Choice Days and having my favorites like two and three times a week. I am sooo happy!! I didn't think that scale was ever going to start moving down again. Anyway, thanks for being there for me, when the going got tough.
Love you Guys,
~Connie
PS: I better stop writing on this message board. You guys are going to get sick of hearing from me. LOL I better give you guys a break. Wishing everyone else a very happy Jenny Craig Day too!

Congratulations!! I'm so happy for you.
.... and please don't stop writing!! You make me laugh - not laughing AT you - but you crack me up. It's nice to see someone as excited about this program as I am.
Besides, if someone out there is tired of your butt, all they have to do is ignore your posts - leave them for the rest of us to enjoy - very simple... lol!!

Connie,
Wow, you must feel great breaking that plateau. It can be so demoralizing...but you stuck it out. You were one of the first people to respond to me when I started on the board (sunshine sandwiches) anyway...I am really happy for you and am again getting inspiration from you.
I am not on JC at the moment (can't afford it) but dream about restarting. I have maintained the weight I lost with JC in early May,so hopefully when I start up with JC again the weight will come off again.
Good luck with those 2 lbs to your short term goal and e-talk soon.
With affection,
Barb

Congratulations Connie, well done. Gee, are you excited of something? Ha. Don't stop posting...ever! It's posts like yours that keep me going. Even if there are challenges. We see you got through the plateau, what you did to get through it, it's all good. Keep up the great work and definitely keep us posted. Juli

Thank you everyone for all of your support. This support group and the interchange of encouragement is what helps us get through the tough times, when the going gets rough.
Dear Want2BHealthy and LoseALot: Don't give up! If I were in your shoes and I just might be, one day. I would still try to stick to the JC program as much as possible. Even trying to pick meals and snacks that are as close to the calorie, fat, carb. etc. that are as close as possible to the JC meals and snacks. JC meals and snacks are the best, but sometimes second best is better than no program at all. Keep drinking all of your waters. Keep trying to have those three cups of veggies a day and the amount of fruit that you are supposed to have per day. The Winn Dixie Brand non fat yogurts are pretty inexpensive and really very good too. You can still make the program work for you, until you can buy the JC meals and snacks again.
Well, I am ready to start another JC day/weekend. My clothes are getting bigger and bigger. Or rather I am getting smaller and smaller. And we are all doing it together.
