I have a question about apples. My other thread must have gotten lost. Just joined yesterday. Today is my first day.
I don't see any apples on my menu. Can we have them yet? Or do we just have to stick the fruit choices they give us?
Thanks.

Yes...1 medium apple (size of tennis ball) is 1 fruit!

Oh, ok, thanks. So I can look for apples on Week 2.
I can wait.
Just had my first meal...banana cereal. It was good. Have to get used to the small servings size.
Hope I'm not too hungry today.

Ya it was hard to get use to the serving sizes, but by day 4 you will pretty much be feeling full after you eat. The food is great! So far my favorite has been the cheese ravioli, and beef lomain. Oh and the desserts...YUM !

PinkPepper, remember to always volumize your food with free veggies or even a fruit serving. For example to volumize your banana cereal you could have used 1 fat free vanilla yogurt (your milk for breakfast) plus 1 fresh peach (your fruit for breakfast) and made a parfait by layering the yogurt, peach and cereal!

I was a little disappointed to see the dessert selections for my evening snacks. I'd prefer cakes to strawberries or sourdough pretzels.
Guess I'll buy some sugar free whipped toppings today.
I'll probably be in the store everyday this week picking up last minute things.
Takes time for it to become routine.

You don't have to have the exact fruit their menu specifies. You can substitute with the correct amount of another fruit.
