Hi,
I just started JC on Thursday (17th Aug)and so far have been doing pretty well (thanks to fat free / sugar free jello to keep my sweet tooth snack-time munchies satisfied).
We don't have JC in England which is where I'm from, but as there was a centre just round the corner from me in Manhattan (the place I blame my weight gain on! )so I thought I'd give it a go. I've been on so many plans in the past and have always ended up at square 1. I lost 8 lbs on my own on the fat smash diet, but it was SOOO hard. It put me off trying to lose weight for a while. Anyway, this time, for the FIRST time, I believe I WILL actually get to my goal. Having to weigh-in every week is what will keep me on track.
So, here I am, 5'3", 150 lbs with 25 to lose. Any other 5'3ers out there who'd like to compare their weight-loss with me?

Hi, I just started JC on Thurday also. I'm 5'3" and 172 I will be happy to trade notes with you. According to my scale at home I've lost 3.5 pounds since Thursday. But I've been drinking a lot of water and peeing like mad.
Was starving 1st day, not so much since. Have been chowing down on the SF jello, too.

Hey, congrats on your weight-loss - that's really great. I haven't weighed myself yet; thought I'd leave it as a big surprise atmy first weigh-in
Have you tried the "free" Tuscan soup yet? I got the ingredients to make it today but haven't actually got round to making it yet. A male friend of mine lost 2 stones (28 lbs) on a soup of "negative" foods like this one, i.e. you burn more calories digesting the vegetables than the veggies actually have in them. I don't know if I could live on a diet like this like he did, but i think this soup may have a similar effects.
What food have you liked the best so far? I've liked pretty much all of it, but really enjoyed the meatloaf and,of course, the cake!
Keep up the great work.
