Hi, I was wondering if anyone has bought the Resistance Cord Kit? I just got an e-mail that it was on sale. I look at it every week but always leave it there. I was just looking for some feed back on it. Is it worth it?
Thanks
Karen

It's only good if you actually plan to use it on a regular basis. They're fairly small by exercise equipment standards, but if you don't use them, then they're just more junk laying around. On sale is always a good thing... IF it's something that you want.
I haven't seen the program that comes with the kit sold through JC. I do a strength training class on a regular basis, and we do a lot of different exercises with cords. There are all kinds of things you can do with them. You can google for a wider variety of exercises too.
Vary whatever routine you do, and make sure you're balancing your muscle groups. For example, don't only do biceps when you work your arms... need to balance with triceps, deltoids, etc.

Thanks, I left them there this morning. I don't really think I would use them.
I bought mine over a month ago, use them 2-3x a week, Its a short 30 min workout and it makes me sweat way more than just doing my regular weight routine. I even bought a set for my Mom for her bday, she needs to start strength training. They also sell the same kit at Target for $30.
