I just finished doing one month of the [FRO]ZONE diet. It did work, I must say, as I lost 15 lbs in ONE month!!! The downfall (of course) is the zone is EXTREMELY expenive and claims it is due to their "FRESH" food. The plan I chose is the frozone which means they delivery a weeks worth of frozen food (in this it is suppose to be prepared on a weekly basis). The food was ABSOLUTELY NOT fresh. I had to talk myself into eating a lot of it and that is partly because it was SOOO expensive. I paid for the plan in full for one month expecting to get a different pre-set menu for each week of that month. The first week came and went, the second as well...come the third week they resent me the same menu from the 1st week. The zone helped me lose weight but it is TOO expensive and the food was horrible and just sent to me without care. I had no idea about anything else. Sure, they put "ingredients" on the packaging but there was NO support--until my plan was about to expire of course!!!
After that long-winded summary... I want to try JC and continue losing weight. I know 15lbs. is a lot to lose in one month and I'm hoping that if I start JC I won't be at a stand-still. It looks that JC will help me learn about the foods I'm eating while still accomodating my NYC lifestyle. I'm 23 with a full-time job in marketing and a side-job in movie production, I do pilates twice a week and I try to have social outings with friends when I can. I feel that at this time in my life I should be taking care of myself...my body and mind. I took steps to help my mind by going to therapy once a week. I want to take care of my body with the same effort. I have struggled with my weight from adolensence...In High school i became really depressed and tipped the scale at 200 lbs. I went on a major diet by going to a nutritionist and lost a total of 60lbs. It was sweet sweet glory until i realized that the diet was so strict and I didn't learn anything. My first year of college i gained about 30 lbs. and went up and down throughout. Last year I went through a major trama and gained a lot of weight tipping the scales at 191. I am now 176 lbs. I'm shapely so my goal is about 130-140. I've been thinking about JC for a while and I need some advice. Is this the right choice for me? Will I lose the weight consitently? I love the support but if I can't make a meeting due to my schedule will I be charged? Have to re-join? Is there a way to do in person meetings sometimes and phone meetings at other times? I HATE cooking and live alone...when I go shopping 1/2 the food ends up in the trash bc it's only me. Help....I MissME!
Thanks!

Like all programs it will work if you work it. I have been on since May and have lost 35lbs. With two weeks off of the plan due to my laziness. You can join Jenny Direct where they send you the food and you have a telephone consultation weekly, but they say the shipping cost is high on that program. Or join and go to a center once a week for a one-on-one weigh in and consultation. The way it works is you pick the plan you want to join and then you only pay for the food you buy. FYI - frozen food it more expensive than the shelf food. You can personalize you menu from the very first week if you want to. (They normally give you planned menus for the first 3 weeks) The planned menus depending on where you live will run $115.00 to $130.00 a week. If you request a price list you can then see how much each meal will cost you and order depending on that. The food is good, and the snacks better!! As with all programs decide what you want and don't let them talk you into spending more money for something you don't want or need. Good luck and let us know how you're doing.

I have done JC in the past. When I joined this time I knew the "drill". First of all I personalized my menu from the start to fit in with my schedule having the more gourmet frozen foods on the weekends and quick meals during the week. I work and have three kids and weekly meetings would be difficult so what I am doing is two weeks at a time. I plan on keeping it quick when I come in with having my menu pre-planned and just weigh in get my food. Honestly it is a very healthy diet which makes you aware of a balanced diet so that when you reach your goal you have the tools to eat healthy. Best of luck!

Hi..I just joined JC a week ago and I"m down 3.4 lbs and that is with going out 2 nights for dinner. The food is excellent and so are the snacks. I find it very easy to follow, just go to freezer and pick your meal. No thinking, no measuring and figuring out calories. My meals cost around 90.00 a week. I went for the gusto and joined the most expensive program so it gives me 10% of food for the first 10 weeks, then its 20% then 30%. I plan to follow if for a long time. I need to lose 40-50 lbs. I would definitely give it a try, it can work into your lifestyle very easily. PS you also get to join the message boards and I think they are great..
