HI, I just joined last Monday and my first weigh in is tomorrow. I'm afraid I did not do too well the first week and it was not that I did not like the menu. I think the food is actually good but I have 3 college kids that all left this week and it was hectic traveling and hard to stick to the menu. I'm hoping for any weight loss. Next week will be much better.
I'm impressed with everyone's first week loss. This program is cool...
wish me luck tomorrow morning.
I'll let you know..

Hi, Do you love golf? I had most of the summer off to play and that was my workout! I started out walking then I started carring my golf bag. Its good to meet you, and good luck with your game and on the program!

Good luck to you. Sometimes when there is so much going on in your life you have to try and adjust which can be tough some times. Now this coming week it sound like you will be back to normal so it will be easier. Good Luck on your first weigh in. Any loss is a good weight loss.

Hi golfngirl, yes I do love golf. I only started walking in August! I'm only sorry that I did not start walking in May. Next year, look out! It's great, but I don't carry my bag I have a caddy my club insists. Which is OK I don't think I could carry, walk and swing 90 times...
Weigh in was cancelled till tomorrow.. I'll let you know how I did..I must say I am excited about being on this program and losing weight. Have lots planned during the next couple of months and to think that I might be down a size is exciting...

My first weigh went well. Down 3.4 lbs and it feels like 10 lbs!I even ate out 2 nights I'm very excited about JC, food is good, I don't have to think about it, just go to the freezer. I love it! Going to California end of next week, they gave me a "travel" menu to pick from so I'm going to stick to as best I can being on vacation. I really really want 40lbs to come off! I'm sooooooooooo tired of be overweight and a size 16!

I'm glad to see your message. I too, will weigh in tomorrow for the first time and I'm feeling a little scared. The first three days were hard, but since then it has been easier and I haven't felt hungary. I've been adding more fruits and sugar free/ fat free jello, but from what I've read on the message boards- I need to follow their menu exactly. I would feel so awful if I didn't lose any weight.

Hey there, you'll be fine. If you followed it the rest of your week you will be down even if it's alittle you'll still be down. Have faith!

Hey Alice. You might not need to worry about following the menu exactly. I think it depends on your calorie level, how many calories you ate before, how active you are...all kinds of things! For me, I lose a steady 1.5 a week, not the fastest in the world, but it's consistent and so far I'm safe with eyeballing my cup of fruit and cup of milk etc. As we go along and our bodies adapt to the new calorie level, sometimes we have to get more strict, sometimes we just have to shake it up a little. The primary goal of your body is to try to everything you ask of it, and burn as few calories as it can doing it - totally backwards from what we want it to do! so sad. Some of us get very efficient very quickly and find they need to be very vigilant. Others of us don't and are able to be more loose with our measuring. You'll find out what kind you are and you'll make it work for you. In the meantime, be proud of yourself for this step you've taken - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how it turns out.
cheers
