I just started Jenny on Tuesday and so far I am loving all the foods I have been eating! Surprisingly I have not been feeling that hungry and am really enjoying it so far! I haven't started putting activity into my schedule yet because I wanted to test out the food and get used to the first step and then move on step two. I really hope that it doesn't affect me in losing though, I am so nervous to go in for my first weigh in! I do have a question, when you are making your salad for lunch everyday, does it matter how much salad you are eating since it is an unlimited food item or do you need to measure it out? I was just wondering, because I have been making probably about 2 cups of salad with my lunch everyday. Well I hope I meet some fellow newcomers thorough my post and to know people are going through the same struggles I am!! Thanks all!

Hi there, congrats on taking the first step to a healthier lifestyle!! You can have as much salad as you want since it is unlimited, but you can't have as much dressing as you want because of the fats and such.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Hello: I started on Tuesday too. I like the food alot. I think I cooked the pesto pizza a bit to long in my micro...but is sure tasted good.
I have not been doing any activities other than normal house stuff. It has been over 105 here for 19 days. I can't stand it anymore. Good luck to you and we'll keep in touch.

Hi!! I also joined on Tuesday and started on Wednesday! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the food so far!! Everything has been awesome!
I make about a 1-2 cup salad and put tomatoes, sliced zucchini and then the Jenny dressing and it's been really good (and I"m not a huge salad fan AT ALL)!
Good luck and keep up the good work!! I find this to be such a good program so far! I am full a lot...don't even think about snacking on anything else because I eat all the time.

I begin 8.21.06 and also cooked the pesto pizza too long. I'm a VERY picky eater and have liked everything except the turkey burger - can't deal w/ green peppers! I'd never tried pesto before so I feel so proud of myself. LOL
GL all; I weigh in tomorrow <crossing fingers>

Hi there,
I started this past Saturday and I, too, cooked the pesto pizza too long. It stuck to the board. I have liked everything except the potstickers. The chocolate cake was ta die for.
Very busy after work and didn't eat til late and was starving. So, I ate dry cereal while waiting. Wish I wouldn't have done that.
Glad to have newbies to chat with.

I started out the same way. I could deal with changing my food first. Getting myself out of the recliner was another. Now I am much more active. It is easier and easier the less I weigh!
I check the bottom of the pizza for stray cheese that will melt and stick to the disk. I kind of like the pesto pizza a little over done. It is my favorite meal.
Oh, and my counselor suggested putting soy sauce on the potstickers. They really improved with that added.
You are doing great! Keep up the good work.

For the pesto pizza...if you have a toster oven it is SOOOO much beeter that way...and NEVER do it for 20 min. even 10 min is almost too long (unless you like the cheese really toasty brown like I do).

Never thought to do the pesto pizza in the toaster oven. Doesn't the cheese melt all over your toaster oven - cause it sure does in the microwave. Also do you put the disc in with the pizza if you use the toaster oven?
I love to brown up a ton of fresh mushrooms and add that to the top of my pesto pizza. Tastes sooooo good that way.
